Year: 1999
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $10500
Mileage: 85000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): WI
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
I've toyed with the idea of selling my SS before, but I think I'm finally ready to move on to something different. Would possibly be open to trades for a 2010/11 Camaro SS or C5 Z06.
1999 Camaro SS, around 85K (I'll have to check the exact mileage), red with gray cloth, t-tops, air/cruise/Monsoon with newer door speakers, full weight car with nothing stripped, and everything works, although the passenger side window just started working slower (driver's side motor has been replaced). Has a white gauge cluster and a shift light mounted on the pillar.
Engine:
MTI Stage 2 heads, T1 cam (221@.050, .558 lift, 112 lobe center if I remember correctly), home ported Fast 92, 92mm t-body, smooth bellows, air lid (don't remember brand)
Exhaust:
QTP headers with merge collectors, QTP off road y-pipe with dual cut-outs (manual), Dynomax bullet dumped. Also have a set of Mac mids/off road y with flowmaster merge and a Borla catback to go with car
Driveline:
QTP blowproof bell, Textralia 0Z700 clutch, Tick rebuilt T56 (I think stage 2, I'd have to look at receipt), Pro 5.0 shifter, steel driveshaft, 33 spline Moser 12 bolt with 4.11's and an Eaton
Suspension:
QA1's all around with stock springs, Spohn tubular adjustable panhard/rear lower control arms/shorty torque arm, welded subframe connectors
Wheels/tires:
Street: 17x9.5 Fikse FM5's, Nitto 275's front/Nitto 315 DR's back (bald)
Track: Centerline Warriors, 15x4 w/MT sportsmans and 15x10 with Hoosier QTP's 28/11.5/15 with I think 4 passes on them
Nitrous:
Nitro Dave's single nozzle kit, Timing Tuner, digital window/WOT switch, bottle mounted between rear seats and control panel in the ashtray with the bottle opener switch used to control line lock (SLP), Racetronix pump w/hotwire kit
Car has been garaged it's entire life, never seen winter. Very nice but not perfect--it has been driven 85K. Gets compliments everywhere. I believe I bought it back in August 2003 and it's been my pride and joy ever since. Car has not been tuned since Fast 92 install, so it searches for idle sometimes at start up but after that it runs fine. A tune would fix that as well as add some power. Only pass on motor with 28's resulted in a bog (launched at 4500 just to get an idea how the track was hooking) and 11.7 at 117; before with 26's and LS6 intake usually trapped 119. On bottle ran 10.7 at 130 spinning (last day of year at Tri-State in Earlville so track sucked). I'll have to dig up some pictures, I was toying with selling it last fall and had a post with pics in the Midwest Classifieds section. I'll add more when I get a chance, I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. Asking $10,500, may consider a trade.
Thanks,
Matt

Picture with 27" QTPs, now has 28" QTPs

Also, nitrous has only been used for 2 trips to the dragstrip, along with probably around half a bottle on the street.

Bump for you. Nice looking car. Got any underhood and interior pics? Any vids of the car running or at the track?
What are you looking for in a C5 Z06? I have an 02 that I have considered selling, but have not really tried to do so. Been toying with the idea of something that I would not feel too bad about running at the track from time to time.
I have a 2002 Quicksilver Z06, mid 60s on milage and pretty much stock except for Haltech CAI and 2010 C6 Z06 shifter, two-tone console lid cover & shifter boot ( both ModRed/Black) and ModRed/Black seats. Have made a few passes at the track with it. On drag radials and cool weather it has run a best of 11.84 @ 116.00 on a 1.78 60 ft. Has been in the 11.80s-11.90s about five times.

Don't have any good pics of either right now. It just snowed here today, once the weather clears up a bit I'll have to get the car out of the garage and try to get some decent pictures of both. Unfortunately no videos.
Nothing set in stone about what I'm looking for in a Z06, just figured I'd throw the possibility of a trade out there and see what happens.
Thanks,
Matt
