Default Modded 98 TransAm - 92,000mi - $7500

Year: 1998
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $7500
Mileage: 92000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Blue
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

1998 Navy Blue Metallic Pontiac TransAm with 92,000 miles on chassis, 7,000 on motor, and 3,000 miles on transmission.
The car put down 448hp and 408tq to the rear wheels with a slipping automatic transmission, which has since been replaced. I'd venture to guess it'd put down a decent bit more power now.

Motor and Power (LS1 pulled from an '01 C5 Corvette with 5,000mi at the time):
TSP Torquer V3 camshaft
PRC LS6 Ported/Polished 6.0L Heads
Chromolly pushrods
SVO 36# injectors
Wolbro 255lph fuel pump
FAST 90mm intake
FAST 90mm throttle body
MTI clear air lid
chrome strut tower brace
chrome breather
ported/shimmed LS6 fuel pump
Air conditioning, EGR, and AIR systems removed
Powder coated Pacesetter Long Tube Headers
3" X-pipe through bullet mufflers out the back with chrome exhaust tips

Transmission (4L60E out of an '02 TransAm with 20,000 miles at the time)
Rebuilt at 25k with all new bands and clutches
Rated for 700hp
Yank SS 3600 stall toque converter with 2.5 str

Appearance and external:
Fiberglass WS6-style hood
Chrome Z06 Motorsport rims, 17" in front, 18" in back
Kumho Ecsta tires on front, BFG drag radials on back (rears should be replaced soon, seeing as how the tread life is only 3,000mi on these things)
Rear bumper cover valence painted flat black
Welded in, orange powder coated sub-frame connectors
Taillights and reflectors have been partially blacked out
Side molding removed

The car runs great when it warms up. If you want it to run good right from the start, a new tune is in order, as the fuel tables for the cold tune seem to be off. It starts and idles well after about 1 second of giving it a small amount of throttle. The car is pretty damn fast for the street. I hadn't driven it in a while and it scared the crap out of me. Going about 35 and dropping a gear usually will make the car start to go sideways, but with a decent driver, that can easily be corrected. I say that just to point out the low-end power this car has. I have owned this car since 2004, and it has been modded since December of 06, but rarely ever gets driven. I probably put 5 miles on it in a 6 month period, typically, which brings me to the reason I'm selling it. I just don't drive the thing. I'm so busy with work and extracurriculars that I just don't have the time to enjoy it anymore. I figure I might as well sell it to get something out of it. It's priced low because I don't want to deal with the BS of haggling and pushing a sale.

What the car needs:
Probably a cold-start tune if you actually want to drive it daily
A/C if you want that, which can usually be found for $200
The rear quarter panel on the driver's side was hit while the thing was in a parking lot. I can get it fixed for you if you're willing to pay extra.
One of the headlight motors needs to be replaced.
Will need new rear tires before too long.

Feel free to ask me any questions via email, as I check it often on my phone, or just text me.
