Up for sale is a 2002 Yamaha wr426. I bought it almost 2 years ago right after it was built, and it's still in great condition. It is street legal and is registered in Illinois. The bike runs perfect and has never given me any problems. It starts on first kick even in 40 degree weather. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but I'm getting back into an LS1 and because I live in downtown Chicago I can't afford to pay for parking for both of them. Long list of parts including:

-- Converted to YZ plastic with One Industries graphics
-- Engine rebuilt with hotcams w/auto decomp so it kicks over easily
-- Complete Pro Ciruit exhaust
-- Baja lighting kit with low/high beam, F/R turn signals, horn
-- Warp 9 wheels: 17x3.50 front & 17x4.25 rear
-- 320mm stainless steel wave brake rotor
-- Continental tires, F: 120/70/17 R: 150/60/17
-- Trail Tech Vapor: digital readout of mph, rpm, temp, odometer, and other functions
-- ASV blue anodized clutch lever assembly
-- Cooling fans installed with manual switch
-- All suspension has been revalved and gone through. Prev owner said valved perfectly for 185lb rider.
-- Powder coated black frame and various parts
-- 5 speed transmission

Issues:
-- Paint flaking off clutch cover from my boots
-- Radiator looks like it was repaired with JB Weld. It's been like this since before I got it and I've never had any problems related to it.
-- Small tear in each side of seat cover from where the staples poked through
-- Left mirror is loose. It's sealed on the back so not sure how to tighten it . It just rattles.

This bike is really really fun, especially around town. It's super light at <250lbs making it easy to ride and toss around. Two people can easily lift it into a truck. The way it's geared it's not exactly highway friendly. It will go 70+, but if you want to ride it down the interstate I would definitely change the gearing. I've never raced it and I just use it for fun around town. It's been taken care of real nicely. I'm 6'2" 200lbs and it still moves out really well with me on it. Needs nothing but a new owner.
