1969 Chevrolet Camaro Roller – set up for an LS1.
The car has no motor, but was set up for an LS1. The following items are LS1 specific and will be included with the sale:
- Complete exhaust
- LS1 motor mounts
- EFI fuel system
- LS1 radiator and cooling hoses
- TH350 trans and converter
- Trans cooling lines
- Driveshaft.
The car was complete and running with a 5.3L iron motor. I was in the process of updating the motor to a 5.7L LS1 but my priorities have changed.
What is not included in the sale is the LS1, LS2, LS3, or LS6 motor, LSx accessories, PCM or PCM wiring harness.
Drop in a 6.0L truck motor with accessories, PCM and PCM wiring harness, and you will have a very reliable and desirable LS1 muscle car.
When I bought the car, I drove it home from Canada and the 5.3L returned 25 MPG w/o an issue.
Here are some other details:
- Complete Rotisserie restoration in 2008, the underside is as shiny as the top.
- Suspension: Eibach lowering front springs, multi-leaf rear, every suspension component and bushing, shocks replaced. Frame epoxy/painted black.
- Steering: New fast ratio box from a 3rd Gen
- Brakes: Front disc; rear drum; all new everything/new pre-made original lines and hoses.
- Interior: New seat foams. Door panels and dash are original and in good shape.
- Exhaust: Truck Exhaust manifolds jet coated black. Flowmaster 2.5" catback with polished stainless tips.
- Wheels: 15x7”/8” Corvette Ralleys with 235/255 BFG's
- Tranny: Fresh turbo 350 with kit
- Body: Fully replaced with steel panels. No patches anywhere. All steel.
- Electrical: Fully updated with mini fuse American Auto wire replacement kit.
- Functional wipers with Newport clean wiper kit
- Paint: Dodge Inferno Red (2005? and up color). A couple of scratches in the paint from a prior engine removal.
