Bump. I just had Ed Hutchins give the car a full re-tune on the dyno and the street. I was going to have him clean up some part throttle stuff, but we decided on a full re-tune. The car runs like a top. I took a few videos with my digital camera, but the audio is pretty bad. I'll try to grab some other vids when it's not raining here.

Cold start video (the car isn't as loud as it sounds, my garage and the crappy built in mic amplify everything at first) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8btaKSTnv8

Rev video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqzpG0wj-gE

To follow up on that, the car made 333/315 on a Mustang dyno that, when recently calibrated, was reading ~21% lower than DynoJets.

The car pulls very hard, and will break the 275-wide rear tires loose from a second-gear roll.

I've received a few PM's asking about trades - I'm open to trades, but I am not interested in trucks/SUVs/lowriders, etc.

Thanks

Please read my first post before showing the entire forum how much of an idiot you are. There is a ton of money in this thing. The front brakes and the rear subframe reinforcement are $6k alone.

Please leave my thread.

Sorry, I should have clarified.

Trades I would be looking for are mostly mid-late 90's+ vehicles, C5's, terminator Cobras, Evo, S2000, M3, maybe an AWD DSM, 350Z, Audi TT, higher mileage older Viper, really high mileage 996TT maybe ( ) etc. Semi-open, but not interested in anything pre-90s at this time.

Is the A/C condensor still there? I guess I'm just wondering how much total work/cost would be involved in getting A/C working again...

The condensor is not there, only the LS1 compressor.

What it would need for the AC -

BMW receiver/drier ($25,) condenser ($100,) evaporator ($70,) and lines ($60?,) a GM 3-wire pressure switch ($30,) and having the lines adapted from GM to BMW (maybe $50 at a hydraulic shop?)

My prices might be off a bit, but should be close - all of those prices were just pulled from eBay. Here's a thread on the bimmerforums discussing A/C swap components.

If you're interested, feel free to PM me and we can discuss things.
