WTT my camaro for your GTO or CTS-V
Year: 2000
Make: Chevrolet
Price: $0
Mileage: 128550
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): GA
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
2000 Camaro SS, 6 speed, hard top, cloth interior, power everything, rear defrost, optional hurst shifter and radio controls.
The car runs and drives flawlessly! No check engine lights, and the car passed Georgia emissions 2 weeks ago. I have about 50% of the receipts for the car, ever since I've owned it which has been since September of '09. Ive always used Mobil 1 oil and have never gone passed 3000 miles on changes. Ive stayed on top of keeping the car in good mechanical shape; Ive changed the fuel filter every 10k miles and even the transmission and rear end oil twice since Ive had it. I dont skimp or cheap out on parts either. Like I said, I love this car! but I am looking for a bit of a change.
Here are the mods that I can remember:
-SLP lid
-LS6 intake
-Pacesetter longtubes w/ o2 sensor extensions ( new bosch sensors were installed at time of header install)
-TSP true duals w/ sweet thunder mufflers
-SLP underdrive pulley (new belts installed also. Went on at time of cam install which was only 1000 miles ago!)
-MS3 cam on 112lsa
-Comp lifters
-TSP 7.4 chromoly pushrods
-PRC .675 dual valvesprings
-LS2 timing chain
-Melling high pressure oil pump
-MSD wires w/ NGK tr55's
-dyno tuned by Vengeance!
-Tick adj. clutch master cylinder
-Eibach Prokit
-BMR adj. panhard bar
-Energy suspension rear sway bar end links
-Boyd Coddington Timeless 2's- 17x11 w/ Kumho Ecsta XS 315/35r17 (about 80% tread) 17x9 w/ Michelin Pilot Sport 275/40r17 (about 90% tread, and I paid for a lifetime replacement warranty)
-black billet grill w/ '69 SS emblem
-clear corners
-new stock headlights
-silver SS fender emblems ( the stock ones off of non black cars)
-berger panel w/ chrome lettering and hurst badge
-5% tint
All of the engine work was done by Vengeance Racing in Cumming, Ga.. so you know its been done right! and it definitely costed some $$. The car also has a new water pump, power steering pump, and p.s. pressure hose going to the rack.. all with under 1k miles on them.
The ONLY thing the car needs, is a clutch. It drives perfectly! until you try racing someone. Once you get to 5k rpm's, it slips because its the stock clutch! and wont hold up to the power. The car made 373rwhp 365rwtq while being tuned, and it should be at 400hp or slightly more once the clutch is replaced. But other than that, normal driving and even hard driving it will hold fine! just dont expect to win a race if your shifting at 6k.. its gonna slip.
The car still has 3.42 gears in it also, so mpg is still pretty good! and it has minimal bog when taking off from a stop. This car is all around badass!
It looks, sounds, and drive like a dream. Any questions just ask!
NOW, what I want:
-Any GTO.. if its an LS1, id like for it to have similar mods like mine(cam, etc)
if its an LS2, it can be bone stock for all i care
-CTS-V: I dont care! show me what ya got
Im located in Douglasville, GA

Nice looking car! I'd be interested in working something out with u on my V but I would definitely need cash on your end and a pretty good amount at that. A straight trade for a GTO might be likely but for a CTS-V... That's not even realistic. But it doesn't hurt to try...
Lmk if u wanna work something out and pay the difference. If not, no worries. GL with the sale/trade!

Yeah... Never hurts to try. Thanks for the compliments man! Do you have a cash price in mind that you would ask for your car outright? I've got a few offers on mine so if something happens, depending on what you would want for it, I might be interested in buying it.

preciate it, but I'm not even really looking to sell it. The only way I'm getting rid of this thing is if I trade it for a gto or ctsv. Im pretty happy with the car, and Id be depressed if I didnt own an LS powered SOMETHING!

No disrespect but do you really expect to trade this car straight across for a CTS-V or GTO? Cars with your miles and mods go for around $7000. CHEAP GTO's are $12-14K and CTS-V's are even more. It might be realistic if your car had 1/3 the miles, more mods and didn't need a clutch. I'm not trying to be a dick, but come one now...there's a reason you're the only one responding to this ad.

When I was selling/trading my GTO I had so many fbody offers with 150k+ miles and no one wanted to add cash.
No offense to you, fbody prices are all over the place these days
