bump.... I got to the dyno today... the car made HUGE power...
The guys at the dyno shop where i went said that their Mustang dyno reads incredibly low, and that they had only ever had one car make over 600hp, which was a new GT-R with huge turbos, etc... I guess it made just over 700.... They've had a dozen guys go straight to a dynojet after getting tuned on their Mustang dyno, and the difference has always been 22%, give or take .5%... So, i wasn't expecting very huge numbers on this dyno... but.... the tuner pulled a little bit of timing out, added in some fuel and the final result was...
615/607 rwhp/rwtq ... 13.5psi - ZERO knock - and a very nice 11.2 A/F ratio....
Divide out the difference and this car is making around 788/778 on a Dynojet dyno....

* one thing to note - the small dip is because there is a small miss... the tuner did some messing around, and he said its definitely either a plug gap or a plug wire... I'm going to assume its a plug gap... When i put new plugs in it a few weeks ago, i gapped the plugs using one of those little gapper tools - that was my mistake, as i should have used feeler guages... my little gapper tool was saying that the old plugs i pulled out were gapped around .024 ... i set the new ones to .028... Well, when we had a small miss today, i checked the gap on the old plugs with the feeler guages at the shop, and they were .028... so that means the plugs in the car are probably gapped in the .032 range, which is just too much gap... Won't cause any harm, just need to reduce the gap on the plugs to get rid of that small miss....

Please PM me with any interest... car is running spectacular... getting her retuned was definitely just what i was looking for... she feels super strong and just rips your head off.... no traction in 2nd gear in this colder weather, and 3rd gear is hit or miss as to whether there's traction...

18,500 negotiable - i'm open to offers guys - keep 'em coming!
Also, I will help locate a pair of stock wheels/tires to drive the car home if the buyer doesn't want to drive home on the Hoosier drag radials... (I've extended this offer to one guy that's interested, so i will extend the same offer to anyone else...)

Hey Bish,
I can attest to the dyno being off if you were at the one in verona. I went straght from there to Dyno Jet after and difference was abhout 60hp. Final dynojet numbers in my sig. Good luck with your sale. Wish I had the money. Cool seeing my old hood on that car too.

Good to hear you got your car put back together! last i saw it, it was on the lift at Jeff's place
regardless, numbers are just numbers... you can argue the mustang vs. dynojet thing all day.... one ride in this car and you'll be convinced... it feels much stronger than it did when i had it tuned at the Wyotech Dynojet, and it made 698/706 back then...
most important is - the car has a safe and reliable tune on it that will allow this car to make big power for a long time to come!

18,000 O.B.O. - make an offer!
Would really like to see the car go before the snow flies... mother nature has been cooperating so far this year, as we don't have any snow in Western PA... but that won't last too long...
