Its not the stock transmission, it has a Tremec.
I don't have all the details on the engine, they've been lost over the years. The car was owned and built by owner of Johnny Lightning performance, home of the world record holding Ford Lightning. (http://www.jlpracing.com/)
All they do is ford engine builds. Its safe to assume this car has the best of the best and everything needed to make and handle the power.

block is super super important. stock iron handles good if its girdled its a bit better. but but still considered bottom of the barrel in a big build. id find that out if ya can. its a huge roll in the sale ya know. call johnny lighting

Ive spoken to him personally. He built the car 10 years ago and doesn't remember the exact specs of it. He assured me hes never built and engine without using the best quality parts, and this car having been one of his personal cars, he probly built it more than it needed. The engine has everything it can have. He just cant remember things like if he used Manley components or Wiseco....

gotcha. stock iron prolly. they handle 500hp ok. anything more you just gotta be easier on it. judged by the looks and miles on the car its been driven easy. (thus holding for 10 yrs)...anyhow...good luck. its a beauty
