As for the turbo, my tuner was wanting me to do this as well. But I really just wanted this as a driver untill I could get a g8. Also my rear end would complain about it too.
is it a 8.5 or 7.5

If you were in South Carolina this thing would be sold. I've got the money for it right now. Damn, I've been looking for something like this for over a year now.

Looks nice. Would you be interested in trading plus cash for an 02 camaro with a manual tranny? Or could we just switch cars and we could keep our respective transmissions

If you launched it correctly I don't see why it would not run in the high 12's. Basically LS2 power numbers, but all the torque is made faster. I ran it twice in the 1/8th before the cam and I believe the first tune was done, but I can't remember. It ran 8.7 both times before I got tired of waiting.

Since I was asked how much the swap costs I broke it down. Actually startled me too.
$1200 trans, and cross member
$890 motor shipped to my house, (a steal!)
$200 fuel
$350 harness and unlocking the PCM
$120 Oil Pan
$250 radiator and hoses
$150 water pump
$300 cam
$800 in tuning
$300 exhaust
$600 headers
$400 for misc. mounts, air filter, starter, alt
$200 for drive shaft
total $ 7010

add about $600 for paint supplies
$500 for new fiberglass bumper fillers and spoiler
$300 for shocks and springs
$250 for rear end
$150 for all new brakes and hardware
$200 in wheels and tires
$700 Dakota Digital Dash
$50 for s10 cruise control box
total $9750
$700 for rust free 3.8 grampa regal

$10,550

Only pieces for car I didn't buy new were the wheels and LS6 valve springs were out of a 52k mile car.

Most are rough guesstimates, but I had a lot of trial an error with getting the fuel pressure correct and other parts I probably forgot. Thats actually more than I thought it would be. So it's a steal for my price really I guess. Thought I was about 2k less.
But somebody (not on this site) actually low balled me with $2500 because he needed a toy and that was all he had.
