1970 CHEVELLE MALIBU CONVERTIBLE.
I WILL TRY TO LIST ALL THAT WAS DONE BUT MAY FORGET A FEW.
THIS IS A BODY OFF NUT & BOLT FULL ROTISSERIE RESTORED CAR WITH ALL NEW METAL, SUPENSION, INTERIOR, TOP, AIR CONDITIONING, DISC BRAKES,ETC. THE CAR WAS COMPLETED BY ME APPROX 4 YEARS AGO.
IT HAS A 2002 CAMARO SS LS1 & 4L60E AUTOMATIC , WHEN INSTALLED 24,000 MILES WITH CAR FAX, CURRENTLY HAS LESS THAN 30,000.
10BOLT POSI WITH NEW POSI UNIT, 373 GEARS ALL BEARINGS AND SEALS COMPLETE REBUILT.
THE FACTORY ENGINE HARNESS AND COMPUTER WERE MODIFIED BY CURRENT PERFORMANCE FOR THIS APPLICATION. A SIMPLE 5 WIRE HOOK UP, STARTED ON THE FIRST TRY.
COMPLETE NEW WIRING HARNESS FROM FRONT TO REAR, ALL LIGHTS BULBS, SOCKETS, EVERYTHING WAS REPLACED.
THE FRONT SUSPENSION WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT WITH ALL NEW BUSHINGS JOINTS, TIE RODS, ETC. THERE ARE COILOVER ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS ON THE FRONT AND 1” DROP SPRINGS ON THE REAR.
THE FRAME WAS BLASTED AND PAINTED SEMI GLOSS.
THE BODY WAS DISSASSEBLED AND SENT FOR BLASTING.
COMPLETE NEW FRONT SHEET METAL, RAD SUPPORT, DOOR SKINS, FULL FLOORS, FULL TRUNK, FULL ¼ PANELS FOR A CONVERTIBLE NOT CUT DOWN CPE PANELS, OEM TRUNKLID.
EVERY PIECE OF TRIM WAS POLISHED, EVERY PIECE OF CHROME WAS REPLACED OR REPLATED.
THE INTERIOR IS ALL NEW AND “CUSTOM” WITH A “TRUE WHITE” VINYL NOT THE OFF WHITE OYSTER. NEW SPRINGS, FOAM, COVERS, ALL THE SHELLS WERE REPLACED FOR THE BUCKET SEATS.
NEW COVERS FOR THE REAR SEAT.
NEW COMPLETE DOOR PANELS
ALL NEW GM HANDLES. NEW CARPET. FULLY RESTORED DASH FRAME.
NEW CONSOLE AND SHIFTER
THE POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP IS NEW WITH A REFINISHED FRAME AND ALL NEW HYDRAULICS AND LINES.
COVANS CARBON FIBER DASH WITH AUTOMETER GAUGES.
POWER STEERING, MANUAL FRONT DISC BRAKES, SLOTTED AND DRILLED ROTORS, SSB CALIPERS.LARGE MPB REAR DRUM BRAKES, ALL NEW STAINLESS LINES HOSES, PROP VALVES ETC.
THE PAINT IS BASE CLEAR CUSTOM ASTRO BLUE.
THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY APART, CUT IN, REASSEMBLED AND PAINTED. THE PAINT WAS DONE BUY A FRIEND WHO OWNES A LOCAL RESTORATION SHOP.
ALL NEW CHROME, LENSES, BEZELS, GASKETS , SEALS, FRONT TO BACK.
NEW 18” FOOSE LEGEND WHEELS AND BFG KDW TIRES.
THE A/C IS CLASSIC AUTO AIR PERFECT FIT.
THE FUEL TANK IS A FACTORY STYLE WITH AN IN TANK PUMP. THE ITEM IN THE PICS IS THE FILTER REGULATOR WITH RETURN LINE.
HAS RETRACTABLE SEAT BELTS IN FRONT AND STD IN REAR.
CUSTOM ALUMINIZED EXHAUST WITH FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS.
THE PAINT WAS COLOR SANDED AND BUFFED WITH THE STRIPES ARE UNDER THE CLEAR .
BODY LINES ARE NEAR PERFECT.

THERE WAS A LOT OF WORK DONE ON THIS CAR WITH ALL NEW PARTS INSTALLED. IT IS ABOUT A COMPLETE A RESTORATION AS YOU CAN GET. THERE ARE TWO THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE, CHARGE THE A/C AND SET THE SPEEDOMETER. I JUST NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT.

I HAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOST OF THE ITEMS INSTALLED.
AS BEAUTIFUL AS THIS CAR IS AND AS COMPLETE AS THE RESTORATION WAS, IT IS STILL SOLD “AS-IS” WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
