Make: Volkswagen
Model: GTI
Price: $7000
Mileage: 148000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NC
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual

I know it's a lengthy ad, but I figure more is better... and PLEASE read it before you ask questions. I may not have answered everything, but I bet I covered most of it.

2003 VW GTI VR6
Black
6 Speed
148k miles (It's a DD, they will go up by about 300 a week)
Selling because I don't need three cars right now, and I'm not going to sell the other two.
$7,000 (Asking payoff, cannot go lower. Pic if you don't believe me.)

Has a cold air intake, no muffler (pipe and tip welded up), halo projector headlights with 6000k HID's (halos are NOT hooked up), windows are tinted, but I don't know the %. All mods are before I owned the car, all I've done since I've had it is drive it and change the oil.

I have the radio card and owners manual
I do have the rear headrests, I just don't drive with them in
I have a second key that opens the door and hatch but will not start the car
It passed NC inspection 9/9/11, so it is good for another 5 months or so
Averages 29 mpg highway (I've heard bad MPG = something wrong, so that's why I mention it)
Spare and jack still present
Everything works (heat, A/C, radio, cruise, windows, sunroof, etc)
No water leaks, trim is good
Cup holders are present, but they are the kind I do not trust... So I don't use them
Big rubber GTI floor mats
Runs awesome & smooth!

Bad stuff... (pics in link)
A weird tear in the driver seat. It isn't really a tear, just some of the frabric is coming off...see pic
Ding behind the passenger side door, about level with the door handle
Small tear in the rear bumper
Its miles worth of rock chips on the front, most oblivious after a good cleaning
Whoever did the exhaust didn't bend it so it is high enough from the suspension. When the back of the car is weighed down, the exhaust sometimes will vibrate on it. Not really a big deal, just annoying sometimes.
Passenger side headlight projector surround has fallen off. It was like this when I got it, the headlight still shined on the road, so it didn't deter me from the car. There is a video of this.
Once in a while throws a secondary air pump CEL. I've heard there are fixes for this, but since it only happens if you don't let the car warm up on cold starts, I never worried about it. I just make sure I let it warm up before I drive it.
If you try to speed shift 2nd, it will grind. It's my daily driver, not my race car, so this hasn't really been an issue for me. I just shift easy. There is a video of me shifting below.

I don't have a profile on a picture hosting site, so my pictures are here-

I figure anyone serious enough about buying won't mind that they have to click on a link to see the pictures.
