The trans is a 4L60. I'm running the origninal computer. Despite popular opinion the 98 computer can be tuned to run quite well if tuned by the right person. The tune on my car runs exceptional.

One thing about this car is if you were to step up to those kind of hp numbers...There will be no need for any suspension mods. This car has a lot of overkill built into it to handle whatever you throw at it. I built it with safety in mind first as well as durability.

Looking forward to seeing you Saturday morning to look at the car. Going to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown Friday night to meet a couple of buddies there running their cars. I might make a pass or two in the Z06.
If you see this post, would you please PM your address to me so I can Mapquest it and get directions to your house? I will bring your # with me and give you a shout from the track tomorrow night and confirm everything with you.
Too bad its on short notice, would be cool to have you bring the car out and make a couple of passes in it at Baytown
See ya Saturday morning!
Thanks
Floyd

good question. i think the rods and hardware are the weaker links. and the pistons are good for over 600hp. but ya a nice forged piston would be better knowing it was sprayed. are they forged???compression same in all cyl.??

Hey Bob
Was a pleasure meeting you today, me and my buddy had a great time shooting the bull with you. Sorry we took up 3 hours of your time, dd'nt realize we were there that long
Enjoyed the ride in the car, and was really impressed with it over all. Car was pretty much exactly as you described it in our phone conversation. I am glad I held out and did'nt pull the trigger on some previous cars I had looked at. I think this is pretty much what I have been looking for
For all of you guy's out there that are curious about Bob's SS Camaro, Its a really nice well built car. As for Bob, he's a class act! Super nice guy, definantly the kind of guy you like to buy a car from.
As for the car, it wont belong to Bob much longer, deposit was given and the car will be coming to stay at my house for a good long while starting on Monday !
See you Monday around 10:30-11:00am Bob. Thanks for your time today!
Thanks
Floyd
