I figured it would be worth a shot posting it here.

This is essentially what I would call a barn find. I picked this car up local to chicago that was sitting in a garage for 16 years! Due to the length of time it has been sitting the inside of the fuel tank turned into rust along with the pump, sending unit and level unit. Everything was changed with new parts. I've also changed the plugs, wires, oil (10w40 valvoline VR1), filter, thermostat and coolant. The car runs like a top and rides amazingly smooth for being 22 years old. The car has an original 44,859 miles on it and the fact the the interior is like new and there is NO RUST anywhere on the car justifies it's condition.

When I purchased the car it had a lower body kit on it that I've since removed. Unfortunately from their install they did drill a few holes for trim screws to hold it on. 2 holes were drilled in each rocker panel (inside the door) and 2 in each wheel well. It's not the end of the world but sucks none the less. The car has seen paint on the front and rear bumpers and the passenger side. There was never any body damage to my knowledge, a childs bicycle handle grazed the side of the car. The rear hatch was painted due to the aftermarket spoiler that's attached. The hood is a Cervini's ram air style hood. Everything that was done to this car was done in 94 when the twin turbo setup was installed. Aside from the holes that were drilled from the body kit, the only other issues with the body that I can find is a small door ding on the drivers door( upper body line) and 2 small dingers in the roof ( the size is relative to a pinky tip if not smaller) between the sunroof and the drivers door. Being that the car is white I can't get a clean angle to represent the affected spots. The pictures following show the 1/8" holes in the rocker and wheel well. There are aslo pictures of the underside which leave something to be desired regarding the appearance due to the fact that the previous owner or the originating dealer had the underside of the car rust proofed.

The interior is the infamous porno red interior offered by ford. the seats are in perfect condition as well as the carpet. All of the interior plastics are in great condition as well. The stereo is a JVC am/fm/cd player and from what I can tell, all 6 speakers have been changed. The previous owner installed 1.5" component speakers in the rear which I'm assuming holes were drilled to mount them ( they can be seen in the picture of the back seat). The center dash vent is missing in the pic but has since been installed. There is also a boost gauge mounted on the driver side pillar to keep the look simple.

All the work/mods were done in 1994. The drivetrain is as follows. The car has an INCON twin turbo setup which was one of most well built bolt on turbo setup designed with cast iron manifolds. The system builds 8.5-9psi of boost and is a blast to drive. The turbo setup was advertised to produce 510 Hp on a stock engine. The bottom end of the engine from what I know is stock, so it's being advertised as such. It has a pair of edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads installed along with ARP head bolts, 1.6 roller rockers, chromemoly pushrods, jacobson ignition amplifier with a jacobson hi output ignition coil. It has SVO 30lb injectors installed along with a Hartman composite intake plenum. Im unsure of the cam size but it certainly has one due to the lope of the idle ( mild but noticeable). Both turbos are directly mounted to the manifolds facing forward. The cold side of the setup consists of cast aluminum tubing with a large intercooler mounted beneath the radiator/engine acc. The car still has all of it's factory emissions equipment present including air injection, egr and evap. The exhaust is mandrel bent 2.5" tubing that bolts directly to the turbo manifolds which is still breathing through high flow converters. From there bolts up a pair of Mack mufflers into 2.5" tail pipes. By changing this exhaust setup to a dual 3" would easily net an additional 50 hp if not more. But as it sits, the car performs great for what it is. The transmission is stock along with the rear gear. The driveshaft is a aftermarket 3" aluminum. The clutch has great holding power with a slightly stiffer feel than stock. It's very easy to operate even in a traffic situation. Everything in the car works including the air conditioning!



The brakes are stock, which the fronts were just changed due to rust spots on the rotors from it sitting. It has brand new pads and rotors. The rear brakes have about 70% remaining. The wheels are Fittipaldi 5 stars which I recently polished. Tires are yokahama AV1-50i rears are 245/50ZR16, fronts are 225/50ZR16 both fronts and rears are like new.


Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I have run a carfax and vehicle history on the car and everything has come back clean. ( I can fax or email a copy upon request) The only recorded mileages was at 9 miles in 1990 when the vehicle was picked up from the dealer and @ 33k mi in 1993 when the release of lean was issued to the previous owner. After that there no other records that I was able to find.other than the car has not had valid plates since 1996 when it was put away. As I was told by the previous owner, there was only 4k miles put on the car since 94 when the modifications were done.

Asking $9200 obo. Vehicle can be seen on the evenings and weekends in tinley park. NO joy rides or low ball offers, they will be ignored. If the car does not sell within the next week, it's going to be put into storage until the spring.
