The car had 103,092 miles on it when the 3800 V6 was pulled. The LS1 had 104,896 miles on it when it was transplanted. The 4l80e had around 30,000 miles on it when I put it in this spring. So far this year, I've driven the car a total of 110 miles (40 miles round trip to the MIFbody Dyno Day and 70 miles of crusing up and down Woodward). Currently, the odometer (which is the cluster that came with the engine) has 105,569 miles on it. This means each individual part has the following current mileage:

Car - 103,765
Engine - 105,569
Transmission - ~30,000 + 110 miles

ALL of this information can be verified using the videos I have posted on Youtube, photos, and original receipts for things such as the transmission. Doing the math, the car has seen only 673 miles since I put it all together. I'm EXTREMELY particular about when I drive my car. It's funny because I've never been like this with past cars. Knowing that the car is small piece of history with respect to the F-Body platform not existing anymore (your 5th gen Camaro is a Zeta platform!), I've babied it since day one of owning it.

The Good:
  • Full restoration of the underside of the car. You can eat off of it and I can show you while it's on my Kwiklift.
  • Nearly all bolt-on parts have under 1000 miles on them!
  • The car has been completely rewired with a 2002 body harness.
  • The car is insured using the original VIN, which is for a V6 3800 = low insurance costs!
  • Dynoed at 384HP/375TQ with the original 4l60e, 10 bolt rear, and 1 3/4" eBay headers.
  • Recently dynoed at 361HP/337TQ with the 4l80e, QP 9 inch rear, 1 7/8" Kooks headers, and no catalytic converter.
  • If you could of been at the MIFbody dyno day this year, you would of seen first hand how loud my car is. I just reworked the exhaust to have a catalytic converter on the mid pipe that's v-banded and can be swapped out in 5 minutes with a straight through pipe. The catalytic converter definitely helps gain back some of the torque that was lost to the drivetrain swap, keeps the noise at a comfortable level for cruising, AND keeps the car from stinking like exhaust fumes once it's at running temp.
  • Stainless steel brake hardlines that will never rust.
  • NASCAR 9 inch third member built by Roush-Yates! IMO, this is important. This thing was built with heat buildup and longevity in mind.
  • The drivetrain overall is ready for more power! I wouldn't hesitate to put 750hp against the transmission and rear end.
  • Transmission is cooled with a B&M 70274 11" x 11" x 1.5" oil cooler.
  • Power steering is cooled with a B&M 70268 11" X 7.5" X 0.75" power steering cooler.
The bad:
  • No A/C (I have all the parts still sans evaporator and condenser).
  • No heat.
  • No ABS (not really bad if you ask me).
  • Driver side airbag is included, but not installed. The passenger airbag is installed, but not hooked up (need different connectors thanks to the difference between the 98 bags and 02 body harness).
  • Paint is an 8/10 in my opinion. Given the age of the vehicle and the fact that it was a daily driver for the previous owner, you will be impressed.
  • Exterior is probably a 7/10. The leather seats have been conditioned twice, but the driver's seat still needs a lot of help. There's plenty of scratches on the plastic pieces your feet come across when getting out of the car. Maybe I'm being hypercritical, maybe not.
  • The speakers are not hooked up. I honestly haven't had the desire to hook them up since I put the LS1 in. If you want to listen to your boring music, I'll hook them up for you.

I can talk for ages about the car and what I've done (and I will do so if someone is genuinely interested in the car). The reason for selling is because I want a new project and I don't have room for another car.

Bump! FYI: If I don't see any action on this by Sunday night, I'm parting out the care entirely.
