--> Up for sale is my 1983 Camaro Z28 Street/Race Car <--

Originally purchased as a 305/Q-Jet car with 37,000 miles on the clock. Original Z28 car, white
with blue interior, power steering and brakes, NO t-tops, manual windows, locks, & seats.
Car was Ziebarted when new and therefore is perfectly solid with absolutely zero rust.
Garage-kept always so underside is as clean as topside with no hint of even any surface rust
anywhere. Clear PA title and antique PA plate that can be transferred to a PA buyer.

The motor was upgraded to a fully forged 410ci SBC (4.040x4.000) with K1 forged 4340 crank,
K1 billet 4340 H-beam rods w/7/16" ARP-2000 capscrews, and JE forged pistons. It was
assembled with Sealed Power Duroshield H-14 main and rod bearings, and Hellfire ductile iron
piston rings. A Moroso 7 quart deep pan and Moroso high volume oil pump make up the oiling
system. The bottom end was assembled with ARP main studs for extra strength and the heads
were bolted on using an ARP head stud kit for better clamping and sealing. AFR Eliminator 195
cylinder heads were selected and a healthy Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam was slid in
(242/248 - .580/.600). Most of the remainder of the valvetrain is also Comp Cams - Comp Pro
Magnum 1.6 roller rockers, Comp Hi-Tech chromoly pushrods, Comp True-Roller timing set, and
Comp High Energy hydraulic roller lifters accentuate the valves. Then it was topped off with an
Edelbrock Victor Jr. single-plane intake, an Edelbrock Performer RPM nitrous plate, and a
Summit/Holley 750cfm Carb. Fire is lit with an MSD Street Billet dizzy, an MSD 6/AL box, and an
MSD Blaster 2 coil. Hedman headers, a QTP 3" exhaust cutout, and a Magnaflow cat-back
round out the exhaust system.

The drivetrain was upgraded with a Rossler Terminator full competition reverse-pattern manual
valve body TH400 with a billet aluminum drum, an Inland Empire 3" aluminum driveshaft with 1350
U-joints, and a Moser 12-bolt with 33 spline axles and a tru-trac diff containing 3:73 gears.

The suspension was upgraded with a Spohn frame-mounted torque arm, Spohn tubular panhard
bar, Lakewood boxed lower control arms, UMI subframe connectors, Energy Suspension sway
-bar bushings front & rear, Energy Suspension motor and trans mounts, Energy Suspension
front lower control arm bushings, Elbach 1" lowering springs, Koni adjustable front struts, and
Bilstein rear shocks.

The nitrous system is controlled by an NOS dual-channel programmable progressive controller,
purge system, MSD retard box, and a bottle heater.

On the inside we find a direct-fit console-mounted B&M Megashifter, Grant sport steering
wheel, Innovate LC-1 A/F gauge, MSD shift light, LED interior lighting throughout, a Sony CD
head unit with a Kicker 700 watt amp and 10" Pioneer subs.

Outside we have a Harwood 3" fiberglas cowl hood and Summit racing Fast Five polished
aluminum wheels (two extra wheels are included with MT ET Street drag radials installed).
The stock wheels are also available if the buyer would like to project the total sleeper image.

Brakes have been upgraded to SSBC aluminum direct-fit dual piston calipers in the front, 11"
drums in the rear, Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve, and B&M line lock system.

The car is not a perfect show car, it has a few blemishes and some war wounds on the lower
rear quarters. However, it does look pretty good considering it still wears the original paint.

The car has produced dyno slips showing 510 RWHP on a Mustang dyno, and timeslips in the
mid-to-high ten second range with it's best to date being 10.68 at 131mph on a 150 shot
and 11.73 at 117mph on motor.

This car was purpose-built to be a sleeper. At first glance most people assume it's probably a
thirteen second car because there are few visual clues of it's true potential. I have enjoyed
lining up next to all-out race cars at the dragstrip and seeing the look of surprise on the other
racer's face when they lose the race.

Car is located in in Allison Park, PA (northeast of Pittsburgh)

I am asking 14K or best offer....

I don't HAVE to sell the car, but I would really like to start a new project this winter so if
you are seriously interested in the car and have the cash....make me an offer.
