Default 1988 RX7 TurboII car with a Turbo LT1 & T56

Year: 1988
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7
Price: $8500
Mileage: 100000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I traded a boat I had for this little beast and now it's time to let it go to someone that will let it be the King of the Streets like it should be.

This is a Bad *** little Street car!!! I drive it everywhere without any issues and it will handle business when needed. With the T56 6 speed you can cruise down the freeway at 70/80mph without any problems. I planned on going auto and turning up the boost but I'm going to focus my money and time on another car.

Since I did not build this car and it has not broke down on me, I can not confirm whats in the motor and trans. I can only state what I was told...

Built LT1 with forged internials
Ported Heads
Ported Intake
70mm turbo
MSD 6AL
MSD Opti Spark
Built T56 Transmission
Aftermarket clutch

The only Guage in the cluster that works is the Gas Guage. There is a Temp, Boost and Oil pressure Guage in a Pod. The Oil pressure guage is acting funny but it the motor carries around 40PSI at Idle and 60-70 while driving down the road.

Other than taking some time and figuring out how to make the Guages work in the cluster, this car needs nothing. You can get in this car and drive is anywhere. Tags and inspection is current...

I do not know who tuned it but the tune in great. It does not die, surge, buck or have any of the common tuning issues. You can put it in 6th gear at 40 and there is no bucking...

On 8 pounds of boost it put down 469rwhp. Took the car to the track last week and the best 1/8th mile was a 6.90 and went an 11.30 but ran out of 4th gear around 900/1000'. On the street this car has ran door to door with several 550/600rwhp cars. It weighed a little over 2800 pounds with a 250 pound driver.

car does need paint, it is faded in some spots. Carpet needs to be replaced, it looks like crap BUT I do have new in the box Black carpet for this car. There is some rust on the sun roof cover, no rust on any other body part.

I know I'm forgeting a lot...

$8,500.00obo

Some of those sites I can not post on because I would not be a member long enough or post count.

I'm going to post it on RX7Club...

Bump for a solid car. I know the guy that built this car, motor was in his 93 rx7 before and with a auto consistently ran high 9s.

Thanks, I was going to put an auto in it just to see how fast it would go. I was told this motor has been in the 9's

Can you post up some dyno sheets and some more pics of the car to get a better idea of the condition the paint and body is in would be great for all parties.
