Default 1997 Camaro SS #390

Year: 1997
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $8000
Mileage: 97000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NY
Color: Green
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS. SLP #390. Polo Green with tan cloth interior. 30th Anniversary. 350 LT1, Automatic, PW, PL, Cruise, T-tops. Everything works. This car also has the two out the left (2OTL, TOTL) exhaust that was only offered in 1996 and 1997.

Polo Green was the lowest of the colors with only approx 121 SS's made and this car is one of only 32 Polo Green automatic 1997 T-top SS's. Has all of the SLP stickers on the doors and under the hood. This is the real deal and not a clone.
It's not a show car but the body is solid with some scratches, dings and paint fading. The clear coat is also coming off the hood in spots. The interior is in good condition but the headliner is starting to sag.. No cracks in the dash. Has approx 97K miles but runs very strong. I just had the transmission totally rebuilt last month and has an 18 month warranty by the shop who rebuilt it. The spark plugs were replaced last week. I also had the fuel system checked and repaired because of low fuel pressure. Again, the car runs very strong and is a joy to drive. Mechanically there is nothing wrong.
The wheels have some road rash and are not perfect. T-tops do not leak. It could use some cleaning under the hood.
My plan was to restore the car but I have found another Camaro I want and because I already own two other Camaros this one must go. I have a Sport Gold Metallic 1998 Z/28 and I don't need to sell this SS but need the room.
Extremely solid car for someone wanting to get into a high performance Camaro SS.
I am probably forgetting some things so please ask questions. Absolutely no tire kickers. If you are not in the market for a car like this please do not waste my time. If interested send name and contact number with 1997 SS in the subject line. NO TRADES! $8000 or best reasonable offer.
