Its a 99' Fixed Roof Coupe C5 6-speed.
The body has higher mileage with 180,500 miles on the clock but the motor and transmission are fresh with 16,000 on them and I do have receipts to prove the rebuild.
The car isnt perfect but its very solid and respectable. I honestly havent had a single issue with the car since ive owned it.
The Bad: The paint on the car is showing the mileage, meaning it has a lot of rock chips in the front end, and a handful of blemishes here and there. The car has NO dents or dings though. If I were going to keep the car long term I would most likely have it repainted. However, If you step back from the car 10 feet it looks like a brand new vette, its only when you get up close do you notice the flaws. The drivers side seat needs to be recovered. It has a couple tears in it. Its missing two very small plastic pieces, Other than that the interior is clean!
The Good
Motor and transmission are fresh! Along with a handful of other things
Stock rebuilt LS1. New oil pump, rings, head gaskets, timing chain, main bearings, rod bearings, valves and valvestems, water pump, serpentine belt, harmonic balancer, GM slave cylinder and throwout bearing, crank sensor and more. Was told the stock heads have been cleaned up and ported but dont have a receipt for that however i do have a reciept for "high performance valves"... I can run the numbers and see what exactly they are. Fresh oil change with synthetic, fresh trans and dif fluid.
Has a mild comp cam (similar to a 224r) and comp beehive valvesprings.
LG super pro longtube headers and catless X-pipe. Headers have V-band clamps.
B&B bullet axle-back exhaust. Car sounds very nasty and it is LOUD.
New Vararam ram air setup that draws air from the fog light ducts in front bumper.
Granitelli MAF and stock ported throttle body
NGK plugs and MSD wires
LS7 clutch and Tick Performance remote speed bleeder with 16k on it
LG short shifter
Grade 8 lowering bolts (not installed)
Z06 front screens and Z06 rear brake vents
17" Z06 motorsport wheels with newer Mickey Thompson Drag Radials out back.
West Coast Corvette flush mount tail light kit
HID headlights
Drilled and slotted rotors all the way around with Hawk Pads.
Car runs strong! Was tuned on the street with HP tuners. If I had to guess I would say between 380-400 at the wheels. It went 12.35 @ 113 MPH with a 1.8 60ft my very first time to the track. If you added an LS6 intake and retuned it I could see it dipping into the 11's with a good launch.
Driveability is great, no stalling or stumbling at all, no check engine lights.
Everythings works, A/C, heat, cruise, radio, cd player, windows etc.
Really looking to sell outright or trade for a 03' and up Silverado SS.
Starting the price out at $12,750 OBO. I can negotiate a little bit. Car is located in south bend indiana.
