Default FS/FT. 2000 Corvette FRC. 427. 560rwhp. Tiger Shark

Year: 2000
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $20000
Mileage: 5000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): OR
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual

LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Never thought I'd get rid of this car, but I'm at that point in life where a house is more important then a car. The only reason I am selling is to help free up funds for a down payment on a house. I would also consider trading down for another car and cash. That being said, here is all the info, plus I am sure I forgot some too.

2000 Corvette FRC. Clean title in hand. Has HUD.

2nd owner. Bought it completely stock 6 years ago. In those 6 years. Iv only put about 10,000 miles on it. About 4,000-5000 is on the new engine. I can get the exact miles if need be. Everything was done at the end of summer 2012. Car stayed in the garage all winter. Put most of the miles on it last summer 2013. Its been in the garage all winter except for maybe 200 miles if that.
The car sits in the garage most of the year besides some summer weekends. It hasn’t seen rain in the time I have owned it.

I have receipts for almost everything. The important things for the short block and heads.

I will consider trades for 98-02 camaros and trans ams. Somewhere in that $5,000-8,000 value area + cash on your end. I’m not looking to trade for a radical built one worth $20,000 as I’m needing to free up funds.

Price is $24,000

Final numbers are 556 rwhp and 496 rwtq on a Mustang Dyno. Really nice flat torque curve at 500 right across.

Engine

AES Built 427 Stroker 11.75:1 ($4,700)
LQ9 Block
Diamond Pistons -11CC
Manley 4340 forged crank
Manley 4340 forged rods (H-Lites)
Plasma Moly Rings.
Lunati Voodoo 243/255 .651/.651 112+2
King Rod and Main Bearings
ARP Head and Main Studs
C5R timing chain.
SDPC LS3 CNC Ported Cylinder Heads with upgraded PRC .675 Valve Springs and Retainers ($2000)

Halltech Stinger intake
LS7 MAF
FAST 102mm Intake Manifold $800
Comtec 100mm Throttle Body $500
Kooks 1&7/8s Headers with Kooks 3" xpipe $1300
Borla Stinger Exhaust $900
Textralia 0Z 700 $475
Ram Billet Flywheel $280

Also have the invoice from Wongs Performance for all the labor, tune and misc parts totaling another $5000.

Full Authentic Tiger Shark kit. Front bumper, Front lip, Rear Bumper. $1900 + shipping and paint.

Wheels/Suspension

Pfadt Racing shocks $700
17” C6Z replica wheels.
275 nitto 555s up front
315 nitto 555 drag radials in the back.

Audio
Sony Head Unit
Infinity Kappa Perfect Door Speakers
Alpine Rear Speakers
Cadence 10” Sub with Stealth Box
Eclipse 5 Channel Amp

Also have a Built rear end to go with it.

Motive 3:73s, C6Z axles and RPM clutch packs. I have roughly $1800-2000 into this rear end. I will include it with the car if I get my asking price.

C6Z Axle Kit- $250
RPM Clutch Packs. $280
Motive 3:73. $300
Install kit. $225
Spare Rear. $400-500

The only flaws this car has is 2 minor scraps on the bottom of the rocker panels.
And the driver side window regulator is starting to stick.

I’m roughly $22,000 or so into it and I’m sure I am forgetting a few things. Plus the cost of the car. I am taking a huge loss, but right now my focus on life is getting into a house.

If there is any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Again, wouldnt mind trading down for a car in that $6,000-$9,000 area with cash on your end.

Haha no boost man. I suppose if you wanted to run LS9 gaskets, drop the compression and change the cam, you could make a couple hundred more hp.
Wanted something fun and reliable. No expensive was spared building this car.
