Why was the motor and the tranny swapped in from a GTO? Was it just a project or did something happen to the original parts?

It was done as a project. I wanted something that didn't require any sort of special attention. That ruled out blowers, turbos, and nitrous. It's for the most part factory powertrain parts minus the cam, pushrods, springs, clutch/flywheel, and intake.

Nice ride for sure. I have been looking to replace my SS that is gone but the weather just won't give me a break and it makes it hard to get motivated for that reason. I do want a WS6 for sure and I'm in Minnesota so it's not terribly far from me.

Also, how many miles are on the body? You say 75,xxx miles but dont say weather its the body or engine/tranny combo.
