Hey Ben, sorry I thought 7,000 was a fair offer at 70% of the asking price.
If you change your mind let me know.
Thanks.

Thanks.
you offered 5k (plus a couple more by the weekend) for a car that i am asking 10 for.

neither 5 nor 7 will take the car.... 70%? is this walmart??? c-mon. no one on here will take 70% of their asking price.

closer to 9 we can talk.

.. here... your pricerange and it's closer to you:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-...-5000-obo.html

or try this one:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-...-trans-am.html

i'm not trying to be a DIK but i very nicely told you that your offer was not enough by PM.... coming into the thread to try to intimidate me is a surefire way to lessen my eagerness to negoitiate.

Yi'm sorry Scott, but 5-7k is just not enough. i don;t think that 10k obo is unresonable.

i think you'd agree that cars like this sell for more.

if you'd like to make a more realistic off offer i'd be happy to show you the car.

it's not a forced sale, and it's not a daily driver so i'm not going to be willing to take an offer that's 50% of the asking price.

Ben

I just said that I offered 7000 and that 7000 was 70% not 50%. Intimidating you by offering you cash? And if you look at Kelly Blue book it is a fair offer this is a clone not a true WS6 RamAir car.

if you want to buy a car like this on kelly.. good luck. i paid way over kelly when i bought it and it was stock... i did so because of condition. KBB means nothing. this car is priced in the range of other similar F bodies.

true WS6 or not there are few cars out there in this condition.. if it makes you feel better you do not need to take the WS6 hood.. in that case i might sell it for a few hundred less.

clearly this is not the car for you... i'm sure you'll find something... don;t get discouraged.

good luck with your search... there are a few out there in your price range/

lol.. thanks.

steal or not.. the car is perfect..in nearly every way. I feel that there are precious few F bodies under $10k in price that can be described that way.

i'll be happy to show the car and to negotiate but when someone thousands of miles away barks a low-ball offer on the forum i'm not really going to get into a battle.

as much as i'd love to sell it to you... i hope it's gone by then.

if you'd like to come see it, i'd be happy to show you...

and RE the smoke in the pic.. it was 5 degrees out, that's just some humidity in the exhaust... i thought it looked cool.

the car has been run on only synthetics since new and does not smoke or leak.
