2002 Trans-am Project Drag Car Car is a 2002 Pontiac Trans-am, around 55,000 miles on body(2nd owner), Black on black sitting on 16" chrome ABS wheels(stockers). Engine is a 383 stroker built by Scott at Midwest Engine consisting of:
New GMPP LS6 block
Callies Crank
Compstar Rods
JE pistons
Full Comp R valvetrain
Comp Cams .608/.610 23x/23x
Dart Pro 1 heads, mild work
11.1:1 compression
LS6 intake with 42lb. bosch injectors
Z06 valley cover for better crankcase venting with moroso catchcan
Engine was dynoed at 471 horsepower at 5300 RPM(not near its max potential)due to stock in jectors at the time of initial driving tune. Should put down 510-525 on motor, built to handle 250 shot of nitrous safely
motor is fully studded: heads, rods(arp bolts), and mains
engine has only had break in time on stock injectors limited to 5300 and 6 or so dyno pulls to 5300RPM Max 1,000 miles
Walbro 225 Fuel pump(have hot wire kit, not yet installed)
Motor is in car, runs, starts, sounds great.
Car has Pacesetter long tubes(1 3/4" slightly restricting) to an ORY with a cutout and stock exhaust after.

TH400 Built by local builder, 0 miles on trans
new drum and sprag
new clutches
Pro trans Brake
Trans is not in car, but i do have everything minus the shifter and trans mount to install in to car
TH400 swap converter for an LS1 made by TCT with a 4,400 stall
Madman swap dipstick tube
B&M deep pan
Swap crossmember for th400
Denny's Nitrous driveshaft(needs to be shortened)
B&M th400 cable
B&M trans cooler with aeroquip lines and AN fittings(ready to hook up)
Suspension
Stock front(minus sway bar)
Midwest Chassis chromoly fully adj. with QA1 spherical rod ends
Eibach Pro drag kit springs and airbag
Lakewood boxed lower control arms
Granatelli weld in tubular sub-frame connectors
Moser 12-bolt Rearend girdled with 33-spline axles and a 3.90 gear and a detroit true-trac(2,500 miles)
Drilled and slotted rotors all around with hawk pads with SLP linelock(installed, but not wired)
Nitrous
Will come with a NX Maf wet kit, good to 250 hp with jets, not installed. was installed with old motor but pulled off when i swapped. kit has timing controller, bottle heater with transducer, and all switches already in the car, but not wired. also have a remote bottle opener by NX, not installed
Car has a/c deleted, but all other accesories are in working order. I loved the car but due to my priorities changing, the car needs to go. this can be a great and stupidly fast car if someone wants to put the little tlc that it needs. With the hours i am working and my wife having a new job to deal with, i have no time to finish it.
Asking payoff on the car which is $16,500 OBO
have some stock parts and an extra pair of wheels with M.T. E.T. streets(27/10.5/16)
