I dont have a "ultra lite" but i do have a few lite sport engines i might be interested in doing some trading on with some cash of course. My question is what kind of ultra lite were you thinking of building or would you be interested in doing some trading on a used engine since the engine is one of the most expencive parts of the lite sport aircraft? Everything I have available are Hirth engines. Let me know what you think.

Looking for something along the lines of that, which also just happens to be powered by a hirth. Interested, but I'm not sure I'd be able to source a plane without an engine, and I know I can't afford to buy a new one. Out of curiousity, are you using those engines for something else? I'm trying to think of what else could possibly use them...

AFAIK the engine has never been opened, bone stock ls1. The old owner that posted here had the car dynoed and tuned, but I don't believe he has the documentation anymore. I'll probably replace the belt this weekend if I don't get called into work, and I have a local shop sourcing a new cooler they said they could find one almost identical for about 80 bucks I'm just waiting to hear back.

Thanks man. Changed the blower belt, plugs, and cleaned and re oiled the air filter yesterday. Now she just needs a new cooler to be 100%, still waiting to hear from the local radiator shop on that one.

Got a cooler, should be on by the end of this week. I guess with the current economy a supercharged v8 isn't on most peoples to buy lists, but bump anyways.

Theres a supercharged salvage title car for that price, but I can't go anywhere near that low...I think my price is already pretty low compared to whats here on the boards, and my cars a 6 speed, a beefed up 6 speed at that...Guess I'll probably have to list her on autotrader or something.

By the way I'd be interested in a trade for a package 5 Prius....yeah thats not a typo

I need something I can not feel guilty about leaving in my schools parking garages and something cheaper

Honestly nobody has even come out to look at the car, I've had a few hits from posting it on craigslist but I've been too busy these last couple weeks to be able to agree on a time for them to come look.

I have a potential buyer that lives about a 1/2 mile from here that saw my car at a party I was having and is considering taking an offer on his 02 SS AE so he can buy my car. If it comes down to it, I'll sell him the car, but I'd rather not have to see my old car every day I know it's going to **** me off.

My point is, if you are even just CONSIDERING this car, just come look at it, schools started and I won't be doing anything else besides class, I know if you come look at this car you will fall in love with it, it's awesome.

In a couple weeks I'm going to have to post her on autotrader, I'd hate to have to do that as I'd much rather see her go to good home, so I offer her up for the same price I told the guy down the street.....12k firm the car has decent tires, and a new clutch, which IMHO makes this a pretty good deal.
