1999 Trans Am M6
$7500
1999 Trans Am M6. Exceptional condition. 134k miles. Looks, runs and drives better than most cars with half as many miles. Older adult owned, not abused or hot-rodded. No fluid leaks, uses no oil. Runs very strong. Meticulously maintained. Clean Carfax. All options that Trans Ams normally have, plus traction control and Hurst shifter. No body damage. Original paint in outstanding condition, with very few rock chips or scratches. Non-smoker. This car has been my daily driver since I bought it a little over two years and 20k miles ago. When I bought the car, it was in good shape. Being that I intended for it to be my daily driver and I am fanatical about my vehicles being “right”, I went through it from top to bottom. Anything that was remotely questionable was replaced. For the past two years, the car has been rock-solid reliable, and consistently gets 20mpg around town and 26mpg highway. The only reason I’m selling it is because for family considerations, I needed a larger car and bought a CTS-V. Below is a list of the new parts installed 20k miles ago.
New GM LS6 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, slave and master cylinder.
Remote clutch bleeder
New GM power antenna
New GM power window regulator/motor assemblies-both doors
New GM A/C compressor and accumulator
New AC/Delco battery and belts
Rear axle rebuilt, all new Timken bearings and seals, new GM 3.73 ring and pinion
All 4 ball joints, all 4 tie rod ends new Moog
Front wheel bearing units (both) new BCA
All 4 brake calipers rebuilt with GM hardware, Hawk HPS pads, ATE rotors. Brake fluid flushed and refilled with ATE blue fluid.
Mods:
SLP air lid
SLP dual/dual catback
SLP TCS logic module
3.73 gear
CAGS delete
Monsoon head unit replaced with a Pioneer DEH4900iB with built in XM tuner. Two months subscription left on XM. PAC adapter for steering wheel controls to work with new head unit. (Original Monsoon head unit comes with car)
01-02 WS6 wheels, excellent condition, none are bent or have any curb rash.
New 275/40/17 tires just installed (< 250 miles ago)
Car is located in upstate SC just outside of Spartanburg. Clear title in hand. PM me for any additional info needed.
