88 RX7 LS1/T56, 10sec Car
Please don't post useless crap in this thread.
I'm just kinda tentatively listing the car because I am debating buying a 996 Turbo when I get back from Afghanistan next year. Just kinda seeing if there is any interest. The only major differences between now and then are an RPM Stage V Trans, RPS Twin Lite Clutch, and the subframe for the 03/04 Cobra Diff, plus a lot of stupid little stuff.
On the old motor (same set up as now except heads), the car went 11.2@124 on the motor only and 10.85@136 (138mph best trap) on a 150 shot (very traction limited, obviously). It never saw the track on a big shot.
What is wrong with the car? If you've never driven a big cam car, it would take a little bit of getting used to. It does have some cam surge below 1800rpm or so, but it is easy to drive around it. The rear differential mount is welded solid, so that does transmit some noise into the chassis. Body has minor dents and scratches like anycar that is old enough to drink will have. Drivers seat bolster is pretty torn up, but aside from that overall interior/exerior condition isn't too bad. A claybar/waxing would do wonders for the car.

Asking $16k or 13k with a stock T56 and a spec 3+. I'm open to trades, must be a manual sports car or a partial trade for a fun DD.

New Clutch
Pic of what the subframe is with a diff. The diff is NOT included, only the subframe, this is just a pic from the guy that makes the subframes.
New Radio
Used the trailer to pull my bike and some furniture to Fort Bragg. Hitch simply unbolts.
