Default 700+RWHP 1997 Pontiac Trans Am Street Car

Thanks for taking a look at my Trans Am. There have been over $100,000 invested in this one of a kind 1997 Pontiac Trans Am. Only the finest and most reputable names in the performance industry have laid their hands on this car in the pursuit of absolute, brutal perfection.

The engine and chassis work was primarily handled by Gary Grimes of Atlanta, Georgia and EFI Wizard/Tuner Brad Brand.

This car was assembled and perfected over a period of three years, where nothing was left to chance. The engine package was perfected on Gary Grimes engine dyno where it was tested to produce 1087 horsepower. This was only accomplished after countless hours of research and development of a patent pending system to stabilize the cogged belt system on the YS-Trim Vortech supercharger. This perfected cogged/girdle system for the YS-Trim ensures dyno proven, high rpm reliability and streetability with no issues whatsoever.

Due to a new job and family relocation, the car has only seen a few thousand street miles. Although, a true road trip from Atlanta, GA to Macon, GA was completed with no problems at all. I have yet to run the car on a dragstrip, but recently took a position as the track manager of an 1/8th mile track in the midwest and will be running the car soon.

The car runs at a steady 195 degrees and is currently tuned for a "user friendly" low boost setting of 13.5psi. This is mainly for continued reliability and increased driveability and safety. In its current configuration, the car makes 731rwhp and 704rwtq through fairly restrictive and quiet mufflers. Higher boost levels (21-25psi) will put this car easily into the 850-900rwhp range. The car has been driven and tuned at this the 23psi level and it was unbelievable. My intentions for the car didn't demand that kind of power, so I backed it off.

The car will clip street bikes, Supras, Vipers, etc... on command. It still retains all the luxury options from the factory including t-tops, air conditioning, cruise, power options and leather. It's an unbelievable piece, but I no longer have the time to enjoy the car or use it like it should be used. I'd like to see someone make use of the car and possibly see it become the World's Quickest and Fastest 6-Speed car.

It's a very nice car. I've seen it a couple times when the original owner had it.
