i hate to have to finally type this thread, but it's just not practical for me to keep this car right now. i'm in college, and i'm tired of just having a mid 12 second street tire car, and to build what i want, i will have to start all over.
here it is, i'll try to recall everything done to the car:
rebuilt 355 with forged speedpro pistons, reconditioned rods, and a forged gm crank. heads have a 5 angle competition valve job, milled .012 for flatness, and springs good to .600 lift. CC305 cam. the car has been dyno tuned and number will be given to intersted buyers. the motor was rebuilt merely 10k miles ago. the motor was good for a couple12.7x passes on street tires, and never ran on slicks, but would tease the 11's if driven right. the car trapped right around 113 and 114 mph.
the transmission is still being broken in from it's rebuild, has only about 200 miles on it, 6-speed, no problems. has a pro 5.0 shifter on top with a hurst billet handle.
rear has 3.73 gears and absolutely no problems so far.
small stuff:
custom CAI w/ k&n filter
msd 6a inition
5" autometer tach w/shiftlight
air delete
egr delete
a/c delete
p/s delete
back seat delete
pacesetter long tubes- true dual x-pipe 3"- 40 series flows
negative:
car needs a paint, the hood, spoiler, and pass. quarter are the spots in need the most.
passenger side window works very slowly, and sticks sometimes (needs a motor)
i'm sure there are some things i'm forgeting, just message me.
would like to see about 7500 out of it, but that's negotiable, as everyone knows...there is a lot more money in it than that, but i realize i will never see that money back. i have about 10k invested
i can get some more pictures upon request
