when you got it tuned did he correct the speedo? does it have traction control? is there any paint "bubbles" on the black part of the roof or C pillar? I know alot of LS1 cars Ive seen with hard tops have bubbles in them, my moms is a low mile garage kept 01 Z28 and she has some as well. also where did you buy the 10 spoke SS wheels from?

Seems to be mostly '99's that I have seen with that problem for some reason. My '99 has a few in fact, but the '01 and '02 do not. On my car, it seems as if a few drops of ?oil? or some other contaminant got on the roof prior to the gloss black being applied.

Anyway, bump for a nice SOM. I love strippers!

 

its always parked in the garage and ive never noticed any oil...thanks for the bump!

One and even that one leaked around the pressure switch for the heater so in all honesty its probably never seen more than a 50 shot. Sold it shortly thereafter so I could rebuild the rear end. Nitrous just wasnt my cup of tea.
