Car ran 11.20s on a 125 Dry shot in New Mexico at 3850 Elevation with old Converter & old trans. Simple Quick Racing got the car as soon as I bought it & installed the new cam,springs,lifters,Struts, Shocks,New Stage 2 Trans & the Yank PT 4400 car should run 11,20s on motor now with ease. The NOS is just there for show. This car is more of a motor car with this converter. But with a smaller converter the car would run some 10s easy. All the car needs is a 12 bolt now & cage!

The exterior is a 8 out of a 10 & interior is a 9 out of 10 .

Just putting it out there, Never know unless you ask, Also this car 60 fts hard on motor!

I bought the car for $10,400 & got ripped, The trans was shot in it. The converter was supposed to be a Yank 4200 & ended up being Viglante, The converter was ok, But the tranmission needed to be rebuilt. On top of the trans in the car being shot, The cam was shot along with a couple of bent pushrods & some bad lifters in it.

The steering on the car was off & the car needed springs & while I was in there I had them change out the Struts & Shocks for QA1 Coil overs in the front & QA1 Shocks in the back

YOU SHOULD BE GLAD YOU DIDN'T BUY THAT CAR!

I have invested another $6000 Grand in the car on top of what I payed for it.

I just enjoy Banging gear's a whole lot more then just stabbing & stearing it down the 1/4,

Man I am sorry to hear about the misfortune you had with Adam, I was so damn close to buying that car. I now have instead a black 99 SS M6, cam only, bolt on, 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 race headers, 12 bolt w/ 4:10's awesome driving car. That just plain sucks what happened, especially when I asked him if I flew in could I drive the car back to Houston without any problems.....

Yeah Adam knew that car had some problems. But I had already given him a $1000 deposit on it & drove to New Mexico 10 hr from Dallas to pick it up. Then after I test drove it. I knew something didn't seem right with the car. But just chalked it up to some bent pushrods from what he was telling me. There is no way in hell that car would have made the drive back. Thank God for me. I brought my Trailer with me. Because I would have been screwed if I tried driving that car back to Dallas!

But yeah it really sucked that the car had all those problems. But you live & learn & the next time. If I think there is just a tiny thing wrong with the next car. I will walk away. Even if I end up losing the deposit!

I would have made that **** start tearing into the car to change the bent pushrods and so forth if it would have been me driving the car back. I would not have taken his word once I test drove the car.

Yeah this was my first time buying a car off this board on the net where I had to drive over 8 hrs to buy it. In Hindsight, I should have just walked away! Exspecially now when I see some 10 sec cars on this board for $16,000 that you can get.

Because that is what I have in this car. Right at over $16,000 in it. My car should run some Mid 11s on motor, My converter is to big to spray it. Or I am sure with a 3800 Converter in there on a 100 shot I would touch some high 10s. But it's nice having a N/A car that is this fast! Just wish it was a 6 spd. Auto's Hook. But they are Boring to drive!
