May I ask why you put a V8 in a car, that' s sole purpose was to be a badass car with a V6? Turbo Regals can be hard to come by at times, as they were limited production vehicles. Putting a V8 in one is sacriligious. I' m sure that wasn't a very cheap engine build, so it seems just as cost effective to build another turbo motor. Why not build a base Regal, as you can pic them up very cheap?

Well... the "badass" car you're probably thinking of is the 86-87 turbo buicks. The 84-85 were "hotair" non-intercooled engines that didn't make quite as much power and are harder to find aftermarket parts for. I got the car with a blown head gasket and I actually got a really good deal on the 455 from a friend. I only ended up spending about 25% as much as I would've if I did a 86-87 turbo motor swap like I originally planned.
