1998 Z28 M6 - $6000
Finally selling the Z.....moving on to a GTO. Here's the lowdown:
BASICS -
-116,000 miles on the clock
-I bought it back in July 2001 with 40,000 on the clock
-Mobil One Synthetic Oil in it every 4000 miles
-All other fluids changed regularly
-Tasteful Mods/Bolt-Ons that are all listed in my sig.
-Brand new NGK plugs just put in
-Brand new driver's side window motor/regulator
-Cooling system recently flushed out
-Brand new front pads and rotors
-Ice Cold A/C
-85% rubber up front.......55% rubber in the back (had to replace two tires early due to a blowout and a bad alignment)
THE GOOD -
I drive this car EVERYDAY, and it has NEVER failed me. Starts right up everytime....no stalling, no sputtering, runs like a champ and pulls like a train. Car is very mechanically sound...I have never had any kind of major problem with it. Engine has never been apart, all internals are stock. I can't even remember the last time the check engine light has come on. While it is not in show car condition, the paint is in good shape, only a few small dings and scratches. From 10 feet away the car looks perfect and really turns heads driving down the road.
THE BAD -
There is a tear in the driver's seat (see pic.) And the transmission will probably need a new 3-4 shift fork sooner rather than later. It grinds intermittently on low RPM 2-3 shifts, and all the time on high RPM 2-4 shifts. The car is however very driveable and shifts fine otherwise. The trans does not pop out of any gear. You could probably drive the car for quite a while and not have to worry about. Also the headlights are fogged up quite a bit...I have a new pair of whisper style headlights on backorder...I will ship them to you at no charge when they come in.
So there you have it. $6000 FIRM takes it. I'm in NE Ohio, right outside of Cleveland. Come and get it!!
