I am pretty interested. Where are you located? I assume the car is all stock? Any interior pics? Ever smoked in? Thanks.

the payment is 272 per month to transfer the lease over it is 595 which I am willing to pay to get rid of it. There is 9 months remaining but I will be paying the 9th payment in about a week.

So basically you could have a GTO for 8 months for only 272 per month

its a lease, so you would pay 272 a month for the terms of the lease

SmartLease allows you to pay for the portion of the vehicle you expect to use during the contract period, plus a rent charge, taxes and fees.

SmartLease Plus offers the same great SmartLease benefits without the monthly payments.

SmartBuy combines many of the benefits found in both traditional financing and leasing. Enjoy lower monthly payments with a final balloon payment and you own the vehicle .

04 GTO Lease-Takeover - I'll pay transfer fee!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back up for a lease trade, the previous guy backed out. I am looking to trade this over as I found an 05 and don't really need two GTO's. The lease is an 04 QS M6 with red interior. It is for a $272 plus taxes considering your state. There is nothing down and a $300 deposit. I will give the deposit to whom ever takes it over. The cost to take over a lease is $595 fee to GMAC that I will also pay to make this transfer happen. The buyout on it is $18,500 and it ends in Sept of 07. The car currently has 28,5-- miles on it and you are allowed 36,086.
I have an application in hand from GMAC that I can send out as soon as needed or I have it scanned in PDF format to email and you can print it off and send it in to help speed up the process.

Any ?'s let me know, Ryan

Here are a few pics of what is looks like, I actually treat the car like I own it because I love a clean and well maintained car.
This is your post on GTO - so are you taking the vehicle back *after* the payments are made to lease end or are you asking someone to pay:
-$300 deposit to be refunded by you September of 2007
-Pay off the balance if there is no overage in mileage of $18,500 (ballpark figure, actual amount will be ammortized at the time of end of lease in Sept 2007)
-Pay taxes, title and license in September 2007 when pay off is due

That could add up to more than $21,575 for an 04' with 40,000+ miles on it.
Not as good a deal as it would seem IMO.

Ravajah, Im not trying to bash your thread...BUT
I have to agree with Gearhed, my dad who happens to work for Pointiac Mitchell Buick,TX as a fianancel manager and he was looking at this thread and he just shook his head and laughed, he advises no one to even think about putting this lease in thier name and taking the car no matter how easy and good of a deal this sounds.Be smart guys.

why is this such a bad deal? it is a lease, you take over my lease for the remaining months. the tax is include in the each months payment based on the sales tax in your state. The lease payment is $272 I pay $289.10 a month due to sales tax. The buyout on the vehicle is what you pay IF you wanted to keep. I thought it was a deal where someone could enjoy a GTO for 7 months for $272/MONTH and then turn it in. The deposit is something that GMAC will return to you, NOT ME. They have the deposit. It is also a lease so you will not be paying title you will only have to pay for your license. That cost me $8 when i transfered it in my name because I just transfered and old plate. I am in no way trying to sell it to you because I know there is better deals as far as buying. The mile overage cost is $0.20 per mile which I have answered to anyone who asked the question.

So 99S351, Tell me why people shouldn't put this in there name??? It is through GMAC, all paperwork goes through them. I pay the transfer fee so you have nothing down on it. You merely pay the remaining months lease and buy a tag for it. It has 29,500 miles on it right now which works out to 1000 miles per month based on ending in September.

any questions feel free to ask, i am not trying to scam anyone. just trying to get rid of another monthly payment where i can put the money back into the 05 I bought.

Thanks, Ryan

bullshit. this is exactly what a freaking lease IS. either you want a lease or you don't.

your dad tries to sell the same damn thing to people everyday and make a shitload of money off of leased vehicles.

can your dad sell a lease on a new GTO for only 7 months at $272/month? NO.

can your dad sell a lease on an '04 GTO with 29k miles for 7 months @$272/mo?
