Yes, this is THE car from the magazine. It makes 760rwhp on 93 octane (830rwhp/890rwtq on race gas without methanol). I am the original private owner. Selling because the $35+k i used to take this oppurtunity to get my car in MT was my daughter's college $. I knew from the get-go this sad day would come.

I saw your car about a year ago before it had the turbo, I think--- it was MTi's first gto in the 10s they did and they said it was losing traction down the whole track.... I think?

They tried. Piston 7 melted down at nearly 200mph, causing oil leak. We deactivated that cylinder and finished the shootout with our V7! When the car got back to MTI the motor was pulled and rebuilt with a whole new set of 8 pistons, and the turbo was rebuilt too just in case it had any oil starvation issues during that incident. All-in-all, the test was one 1-mile acceleration run, three stops from 100mph, three stops from 70mph, figure 8 handling test for about 5-10 laps, dyno test,weigh-in, and emissions sniffer test.
