00 Trans AM WS6 Convertible - 6 Speed, 21k mi, 02 Engine Best Deal You will Ever Find Up for auction today is a 2000 Trans AM Ram Air WS6 Convertible. This car is a true Ram Air with the WS6 Package and a 6 speed - VERY RARE TO FIND THIS COMBINATION! This engine has the LS6 Intake on a LS1, making it the most powerful LS1 put in a Trans Am or Camaro at 320HP.
The car is completely loaded with VERY COLD A/C, cruise, power windows, power steering, rear defrost, power locks, tilt, delay, in dash CD player, kenwood 4-ways replaced all the way around, remote keyless entry, 12 disc cd changer in the trunk, power convertible top, Collector Edition leather seats, power drivers seat track, dual power lumbar, Collector Edition trunk cargo mat, Hotchkis rear lower control arms and rear adjustable stabilizer bar, aluminum driveshaft, SLP air box, Smooth Bellows cold air induction kit, K&N air filter, SLP Loudmouth exhaust, traction control, and a 3 piece convertible boot cover with storage boot. We added four cross and slot drilled rotors with new pads replaced in the last 2,000 miles as well. The top is in very nice shape, and is 100% immaculate. The car has a professional repaint 7,000 miles ago, which is very glossy, and has no major problems to report. This was not a cheap Macco paint job, this was professionally done.
We will include the OEM owners manual as well.
This car has a 3.42 TRUE LOCKER rear axle, the best trade off between power and gas milage. This car has Hotchkis lower control arms and a Hotchkis rear stabilizer arm. Also includes a SLP Hurst short throw shifter and matching Hurst shifter ****. Bilstein high performance rear shocks are included as well.
The wheels are OEM WS6 17" High Polished Wheels, option QF6, 9" wide. They are in very good condition as shown. The tires are a set of 275/40Z/17 inch. They are Ryken Raptor tires, and still have a lot of tread left. About 90 percent of tread left.
Everything is 100% functional. I am the second owner of thie Trans AM. ADULT OWNED AND DRIVEN - NEVER BEAT ON. Never taken to the track. Never raced. It is a California Car. The car is very clean, and has never seen snow. The only water it has ever seen is when it was being washed. It sits in the garage under a cover when the weather is not 100% clear. Non-smokers car. The leather is very very nice and has no major flaws. All console lids open and close as they should.
The underbody of the car looks great. See the pictures attached towards the bottom. This car has never seen snow, or salt, and has been a summer car its whole life. Car only drives from April to October. During winter, it has been stored in a heated garage, properly maintained as it sits under a cover.
Car is ready to drive anywhere in the country. It has been professionally maintained at all times, and all fluids were properly checked at their proper intervals. Car is 100% mechanically sound, and will drive anywhere with no problem.
The reason for the old salvage title is the car was hit lightly in the right rear in 2002. The vehicle ran and drove when we purchased it. The car had light rear end damaged, which caused the salvage title. We had it professionally fixed and inspected, and now the car carries a 100% transferrable title that can be titled and insured in any of the United States. This has been a running, driving, fully operational car since the spring of 2003, and has been plated and minted full insurance since then.
