Post BLING!!! '02 FIREHAWK M6 Below Book Value! L@@K!!!

2002 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk
Low Retail, Average Retail, Value High Retail
$22,625 $27,025 $29,700

Number 608, just over 50.2kmiles, Black, black, Chrome Factory Rims with NEW BFG TIRES! Polished engine , Lunati cam (236/236/112), Fresh Comp 918's, TSP pushrods, Weiand Manifold with perfectly handmade egr block-off plate (polished), Coated Pacesetters, Pro-Rebuilt 6speed 5k miles ago, Pulley, Shaner S3, Polished Brake Calipers, The 10-bolt is from a 12k mile SS has around 15k miles on it currently, T/A Girdle, SLP Boxed Sub-frame Connectors, Torque Arm, Hurst with a short stick, many more details and history.....

Extremely strong street machine, NO EXCUSES PERFORMANCE-WISE!

The bad:
*Got 4.11 gears in the past and didn't program the computer immediately, (lack of tuning options for me back then, rarely driven, thought it would be smart to disconnect the speed sensor) The car has about 500ish miles more than than the current 50,2xx odometer reading. Nothing I'm losing sleep over, but it's the truth.

*The car has had a cleanly installed Incon TT kit (less than 2k miles total) Not that it's bad to run 5psi of boost through an LS1, but I think most would want to know that.

* The only non-reversable thing about taking off the turbos was the oil drainback into the crankcase. I put a plug on the fitting... nothing really, but if somebody wanted a new oil pan installed I'd charge $300 for the part/labor. (I'd leave it like it is.)

*Extremely minor divots (2-3) in the passenger quarter panel from the previous owner. (He was a nightclub owner) Paintless dent repair will remove any trace for about $150, I've never bothered with it.

And that's about it. I have a printed copy of a CLEAN CARFAX.
I'm telling pretty much all the good AND bad.
<== My trader rating says a lot about my character.
Asking a firm 21k with the engine polish work, *or* 20.5k with LS6 manifold & de-bling.

I can help you get financing (I do this sort of thing for a living, stress-free)

Dyno'd at the GMMG shop (Berger Camaros, Blackbirds, Dick Harrell cars)

421rwhp,

I am not interested in any trades. This beautiful Firehawk WILL be sold within the next couple weeks, if you're interested then move NOW!

Both pm's have detailed replies... thanks for the interest.

This Firehawk is priced as a steal!
It pulls like a monster up to it's 6,800 rpm redline, and sounds wicked.

Personal issues forces this sale, and the lucky buyer will get a Firehawk priced below "poor condition pricing" for possibly one of the cleanest in the country.

This car is being sold definately! Act now or miss out. ~Joshua 678/492/6843

I've seen the car in person and know Josh. He's a great guy and will cut no corners to make sure things are done right. The car is beautiful and at the price he's given, I'm surprised the car isn't gone yet! Best of luck on the sale, Josh!

Thanks for the kind words guys..

I've gotten some nice pm's... but it seems people don't know how to buy (pay for) a car...

If you use the link from Capitol One (sponsor==>)
you'll get an acceptance in 15 minutes, they'll send a blank check for the full amount and you'll have a cherry Firehawk!!!

All you do is select "used car from private seller" and it only takes 10 minutes to fill out their from, and they call you back and email the approval in 15 minutes! Easy.

Call me or pm if you have any questions. ~Joshua

^^ I'd use Kelly, (they're pretty much all the same) but only NADA lists the Firehawk! It's so rare that it's not even in most listings...

Why couldn't you sell the bling-mobile about 6 months from now when I get out of school:

Even though it's priced below book, usually somebody starts making offers.. that hasn't happened yet..

I'm still a bit shocked that there aren't real buyers for desirable cars at hugely discounted prices...

I'm thinking about making the motor look stock (no bling except the water pump/heads) and selling for an even more attractive price...

Who's a buyer?

Just my opinion, don't debling the motor. I'd say your price is fair even if it were 100% bone stock. Post over in the Texas section as well, these cars very popular in Texas.

BEAUTIFUL CAR DUDE!!!!

But with that being said, go to any car dealership in america and see if they would give you anything close to "poor condition value" for your car.... You are advertising it at "deeply discounted rates" but that figure is out of the ball park... i picked up a MINT 99C5 in 2002 for 20k from a stealership.... Just a thought. Nobody will make an offer because it is (IMHO) priced too high to sell on this board.. You might have better luck on ebay and hiding your reserve....

I personally would de-bling the car and sell it for less, I think you will have more interest that way

A '99 'Vette and an '02 Firehawk are influenced by two completely different market conditions...

This Firehawk is discounted heavily-- Simply so the buyer doesn't have to worry about the value. It's obvious.

I'm curious to know what a buyer is expecting. Or is this forum only good for $12K burnt-up WS6's/SS's ?

I'd prefer to hear the opinions of real buyers... any out there?

It IS an awesome car bro....but yeah your statement about burnt up WS6's and SS's was about dead on. not too many on this board who want a mint Show/Collector car, they want something to be able to rag on, drive now and haul ***...just my opinion though. TTT for a badass car

Ill tell you my opinion. I have been looking for a Hugger orange SS or a 30th anniv for a while now for the right price. Its tough to get the kind of money you are asking for one reason. MILEAGE. It really doesnt matter how clean a car is when it has higher mileage......it might "look" new, but it isn't the same as being practically new. GL on the sale though.
