Rebuildable title

Another question, what is a Rebuildable title. Does that mean the car was a total write off? Or does any accident that goes through insurance get a rebuildable title?

Something to stay way from?

(I am in Canada...and the terms are bit different here...just trying to make sure i do not screw up!)

it means at one time the car was a total loss. the insurance company paid the car off. The same as a salvage title. It can be rebuilt and put back on the road.
