Smile [FS] 1993 Ls1 Rx7

For Sale
1993 Mazda Rx7
Broberts04@hotmail.com
$25,000 obo, no trades

•Clean title, base model with 53k miles on chassis (20k on engine & transmission)
•Vintage red with black cloth interior
•VIN: JM1FD3316P0206776

For sale is a 1993 vintage red base model Rx7 with a 2002 Ls1 and T56 transmission. The chassis has only 53K miles and the engine and transmission less than 20k miles. The engine swap utilized Hinson Supercars parts as listed below. The car is a perfectly running stock 3rd generation Rx7 with a stock Ls1 and 6-spd transmission. It is in amazing condition for its age and retains power steering and air conditioning. This Rx7 is a terrific 2900 pound daily driver that has trapped 111 mph in the quarter mile with a stock Ls1. I enjoy this car immensely but other projects as well as the need for garage space and capital tell me it is time to sell. I’ll be happy to discuss the swap, the car and answer any questions. Just email me and we’ll setup a time.

Drivetrain:
•Stock 2002 LS1 & T56 transmission pullout from a Camaro Z28

•Hinson aluminum driveshaft
•Stock Rx7 rearend with 4:11 gears

Doesnt that type of body style get more money than any other year? Ive seen stock RX-7's same year with the original motor with the turbos go for $15k with alot of miles on them. Car itself has low miles, motor/trans has low miles...... seems like a pretty good car to me. $25K seems a bit high, but hey...somebody might want it. With $25k you can now get a 02 z06 with low miles, but this car is different

That is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever seen on here.

$25k is right on the money for a car like this considering how clean it is. The mileage of both the motor and the chassis make it a great buy. Good luck with the sale.

Pete

Thanks eastcoast. It was earlier this year that you sold yours correct? I seem to remember a FS thread, maybe I'm wrong. I believe $25k is a reasonable starting point. Some additional pics for those interested.

Yes, I sold mine last fall. I didn't really know how to price mine and I gave it away for $23k. I posted it for sale on a Tuesday, got calls from three serious buyers on Wednesday. One of them paypalled a deposit Thursday and flew in to Logan airport on Friday morning and drove it home to NJ in the afternoon. One of the best transactions I've ever had, besides selling it for way less than what it was worth.
