1999 Hoss

99 Camaro SS Hugger Orange/Blk-Grey Leather inside
The interior is very clean. All the plastic in in the car, nothing is scratched up or broken. The car has the T-Top holders. The car has been well kept and well maintained. There are two items which I can identify on the interior which I want to make a buyer aware of. The first owner was a woman who wore high heels, and there is a small hole down by the accelerator where her heel went through the carpet. The other issue is a small hole in the seat bolster on the driver side. it is very near the seam, and is about the size of a pencil eraser. The hole looks easily repairable, but again I wanted the potential buyers to be aware of it. My guess is someone went to sit iin the car with a pen or a screwdriver in their pocket, and it poked the seat as they got in.
orig LS1/6spd - no engine mods (exc. K&N filter)
When I say no mods, I mean absolutely positively no mods. This isn't a car that has been beat on and de-modded. This car is 100% unmolested in any way shape or form. The only thing "done" to it was to drop a K&N filter in the airbox.
92K miles - very well maintained (M1 5w30)
The milage is correct and accurate. My friend who owns the car is a certified car nut. He owns several very nice cars, and whatever he owns definitely gets well taken care of. The car has not been raced, abused, driven hard or anything else. The only issue the car has right now is a small oil leak at the rear main seal. If he kept the car he was going to replace the seal if and when he replaced the clutch. The car has the original clutch replaced with a stock unit at 60-70K miles. As far as I am aware, this is the only "serious" maintenance done on the car to date.
SLP Center mount exhaust (quad tips)
Pretty much sums it up. SLP exhaust. Some like it, some don't...
PW/PDL/Cruise/Tilt/Monsoon Sound
All work, and all in good shape.
T-Tops w/shades
As stated above, the car has T-Tops which are in good shape, along with the orginal T-Top bags.
Show quality PPG paint (same color+blk stripe)
The car was repainted the factory HO color, but was repainted with PPG paint. The shop that did the work is the shop that does all of my work. So, I can honestly give it high marks. The car has been painted for about 1 year now. So, if there were any hidden flaws, they would have surfaced by now. The reason the car was painted was two fold. One was that the factory paint was peeling on the hood. Secondly, the car was parked, and someone backed into one of the rear quarter panels. The damaged quarter was removed, and a new quarter was installed on the car.
Many folks will recognize the paint scheme as it was copied from Tony W's (Nine Ball's) car.
The car has a clear title, it hasn't been wrecked, and is an all around good clean car.
Out of a possible 10, I would honestly give the car an 8 - 8.5. I am attaching picture of the car (which are not all that good). The car is really a very nice looking car in person.
The current asking price is $12,500.

I am also getting the VIN to run a Carfax on the vehicle, or so that the VIN can be provided so that any seriously interested party can run their own Carfax to verify the vehicle.

Case #06806
Accident reported
in Salt Lake County
Involving a front impact
It hit a motor vehicle
Front & left side damage reported
Don't advertise a clear title. Any idea what was wrong when it failed emissions on 1/15/2005 then passed on 1/31/2005?

I forgot about the damage to the front. The car had apparently been in a minor front end collision before my friend purchased the car. The bumper cover had been repainted, both front fenders and the hood were original to the car, and were original paint from what we could determine. That was why the VIN was posted here so folks could check it out for themselves. There was no intent to hide information or decieve anyone about any aspect the car.
As for the emissions. The car sat for quite some time not being driven, as this became their "extra" car. That emissions test was before my friend bought the car. It is my understanding that there was a sensor out, and the car failed. The sensor was replaced, and the car passed.
Anyhow, thanks for the interest...
