With 34k miles, does it have any rock chips or anything? Im sure it will have a few here and there, but are there any noticeable ones?

if you look VERY closely, there is one on the passenger side headlight cover. it would be easy to repair, i just havent. you have to be right up on it AND looking for it though.

I dont know if Barret Jackson will net you any more than KBB value IMHO, they are full of ppl looking for the extremely rare, never ever used 30 to 40+ years old vehicles.

If you hold on to it for like 12 more years in the exact same condition and maybe it will start to gain collector appeal.

At best you should assume you are only going to get a maximum of $1500 to $2500 over what KBB shows a TA in excellent condition.

I hope you get the price your looking for.

Good luck with the sale.

i see what you're trying to say, but NADA recognizes a 35th trans am for $30K with my same mileage, and that car isnt NEARLY as rare, and only stickered @ $35k. my car being MUCH more rare, and stickering at $41k....... let alone the fact that mine came with handling, performance, and appearance upgrades; while the 35th trans ams, had special wheels and some decals. i'm not trying to take anything away from those cars (i love them), but mine should be worth more, for 20 different reasons = IMHO.

Hey John, you know I like your car. But it's only worth what someone will give you. Try and see if you can take it to Barrett Jackson http://www.barrett-jackson.com/

EkS, i think you're absolutely right, BUT = i was just pointing out how nada already puts the 35th anniv well over the regular T/A value, and that mine IS a 35th plus much more, so mine should be worth atleast a little (if not, quite a bit more) more than plain T/A. by the way, let me know if you and the chevelle plan any road trips to the east coast

This is an amazing looking car. Someone will walk into a killer deal. A bit out of my price range (seeing as I'm broke now), but a great deal nonetheless. Best of luck on your sale.

And you're right on that also. Maybe wait till the summer to sell it. Everyone's money is hibernating

Ah, the only way my Chevelle and I are going to the east coast is when you buy my Chevelle and I pick up your car.
