if you think a bone stock hawk with 33k miles is worth 25k your sadly mistaken (especially when it has an accident).

There's also dreamers that think their 7 year old Firebird is a Ferrari. Take the 6500 and run.

Because I was looking to buy another wrecked Camaro or Firebird and wanted to see if he either still had it and wanted to sell it at a good price now.

Better off stripping the thing. It would never be the same after a wreck that hard

That car is hurting bad. I work in the industry, unless someone owns their own shop it wouldn't benefit them to pay $8K for that wreck, there's no $$ in it.

Take the $6500 and run, seriously. No one in their right mind would pay $8K+ for that thing.

I bought a 94 Z28 to part out that was wrecked just like that, hit square on the passenger side frame rail. The whole frame rail and shock tower were pushed back, frame rail back into the floor pan and firewall, and the K member, strut, and lower A arm were bent. You would likely have to cut it half way up the A pillars and across the floor and put a new front end on to fix that car. That's major damage man.

Well if someone still wants the car for 6500 I will let it go. I never thought about the car as a Ferrari but there is too many people that try to compare prices between a beat up 93 v6 firebird and a low mileage 02. I was getting figures from NADA, same site Tennessee Credit Union used to estimate finance value and BEFORE the wreck they offered me to refinance it for 27,000. I understand the car now has this wreck on it's record but many people can't understand it still has a clear title. I have title on hand, not branded. It was part of the deal with the insurance company to settle the damages. I also understand the car was wrecked hard and it can not be straightened pulling it with a Toyota truck and painted with spray cans to make it look good, YES it needs a reputable body shop to be fixed, but I used to fix wrecks worse than this one, and nobody could tell the car was ever wrecked, so I know it's not an imposible task. I don't have a shop or tools to do it now and preffer to rather sell it than watch it rot, but I can't give it away just because somebody is looking for for a swap to put in their $500 car. Any doubts on the prices of Firehawks check the NADA.... http://www.nadaguides.com/usedcars.a...&z=37353&da=-1

I'm appraiser, I've seen hits from mild to wild...that car is HURT. It is not a simple fix. The prices your quoting from NADA is for a clean, non hit vehicle. It doesn't matter if the title is still clear, the fact that someone can pull up a carfax report is enough. I'm having trouble selling my 'vette because it's been hit...could you tell? Nope. It just had body panels replaced(which are all bolt on) and people are still worried(then again most people looking for a 'vette are pompous ******** lol).

I'm not attacking you, I work in the business just like you do...and if you can ditch it for $6500 I'd do it.

$6500 for that car is insane. Which is probably why you still have it.

I used to work on a collision shop years ago, I have been restoring vintage cars for years now. This was my personal car not a rebuild project.

Seriously though. if times get hard and you need to sell, let me know if your interested. As a good guy I urge you to take that $6500 and don't look back. How much do you have in the car now anyways??
