This one is the number 4 car of only 14 Mecham T/A's built in 98. The car was ordered by Bob howard Pontiac by a forward thinking general sales manager by the name of Brendon Langren. I have the original window sticker as well as the Mecham dealer display sheet and a written letter of authenticity from Dennis Mecham. The instrument cluster has also been autographed by Dennis Mecham. I am the third owner of the car, I bought it from the second owner who bought the car in mid 98 from a local dealer who specialized in older muscle cars. The car now shows 37k on the odometer "approx. 3000 miles on engine" and has been garaged since it was new. The interior still looks like brand new with absolutely zero wear on the seats. It has also never been smoked in and still smells like brand new leather inside. The exterior is in exellent shape as well with a couple of very minor dings "too slight to capture in picture" in the quarter panels that could be easily be pushed out by paintless dent repair. The front bumper cover has the usual debris spots as well and could use repainting to be show quality.
The car now has a 422 CI re sleeved aluminum stock block with CNC ported AFR 225
heads. The engine consist of a Cola light 4340 4" stroker crank, Lunati Pro billet ultra light 6.125" rods, Comp R lifters, custom 259/267 @50 Comp camshaft, Ross forged pistons 11.1 comp, Roll master timing chain, ARP studs and ASP underdrive crank pulley, Fast 90mm intake/NW 90mm throttle body/Kooks 1.7/8. The trans is unmodified T56 with the Mecham installed two piece B/M ripper shifter and Exedy hyper series twin disk clutch. ACPT Carbon fiber drive shaft, Mosier 12 bolt/33 spline, Eaton posi with 800 lb springs/411 gears. LG motorsports tubular body mount torque arm, LG tubular aluminum double adjustable LCA's and adjustable panhard rod. Wolfe bolt in 6 point roll cage and sub frame connectors.
The car runs on premium pump gas and made 560.81 Rwhp and 508.34 Rwtq on a dyno jet chassis dyno with no power adders through the hooker 1.3/4 headers. It has been to the track one time since I have owned it and ran a 10.93 @127.8 mph on a 1.66 60'. I ran the car in everyday full weight street trim with a set of four year old 26/10.5 ET streets. Due to it being the last day of the season the track was packed and I only got to make three passes. I also couldnt launch the car over 4500 without severe wheel spin. The car has exellent street manors and is reliable enough to drive anywhere, I wouldnt hesitate to fly in and drive the car home. It has zero cooling problems thanks to the aluminum Howie radiator reguardless of outside temps or traffic.
The wheels are IForged Aero rotary forged three piece 18/10 front and 18/10.5 rear with Kumho MX 275/35 and 295/35/18. I have two of the original Mecham wheels "still available from both Mecham and ROH".
I also have a brand new set of Bogart Bolted R/T wheels with tires. The buyer can take his choise between the IForged or the Bogarts.
These pictures arent the greatest but there all I have of the car at this time.
Asking price $19,500. Funds have to clear my account before the car will be released.
Feel free to ask questions as I am sure I forgot some things..

I have personally seen this car and it is by far the cleanest, and most impressive TA out there. and for the asking price its a steal!
I was there when the car ran the 10.9 and with good tires and the added power it is a mid-low 10 second car.
Im sorry you have sale Jeremiah

Both the original hood as well as the new/revised hood are shown on the car in the photos. The original hood is a lower profile without ram air, the revised hood is much taller, more agressive with functional ram air in the front.
A local speed shop by the name of Extreme Performance went through the engine with a new cam and re tuned it after I bought it.
Extreme has done three other cars of mine and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Its a bolt in cage and the carpet has not had a hole cut into it, it has been sliced and folded back for the bar. If the bar were removed and the carpet pushed back down you would never know. The only thing you would need is the two rear speakers and speaker grills since the speakers were removed and the grills were cut for the bar.
