Just curious, but where are you located? Reason I ask is because I've been keeping my eye on one sitting on the Scott AFB Lemon Lot for the past few.

I saw it advertised on Craigslist and wondered if that was you here. Funny thing actually, my wife and I went to lunch at Chevy's in O'Fallon a few weeks ago and your car was there, and I nearly dropped when I saw it. That's one of my most coveted and favorite T/A's ever (and a Sport Gold WS6 is a close second). Then a buddy tells me it's for sale, and I'm stuck cursing and swearing because I simply can't buy another car right now.

If anyone non-local wants this checked out, I'm willing to do so and give an honest and unbiased opinion. For the mileage and having only walked around the outside, it's in very nice shape overall.

Good luck with the sale, I'm jealous of whomever the new owner will be.

 

Yeah that's mine.. I know, when I came across it on Autotrader when I bought it, I nearly dropped as well. I had been looking for a Purple F-Body since I was a kid. I wish you could own it too, and I appreciate the generosity of checking it out for someone, I'd be more than happy to show you the car and let you test drive it for someone non-local. And thank you, you're right, it is a very clean car, the inside is as clean if not cleaner than the outside.

Oh, and your Corvette looks amazing.

What's the VIN # and do you have any good pictures of the car with the sun shining on the paint?

Is the car up for a cross-country trip if bought?

Any noises from the rearend, transmission, etc? Does the transmission shift smoothly and how is the clutch? Does it use oil or have any piston slap?

The car is definitely up for a cross country trip, there aren't any problems I can think of. I haven't had hardly any problems with the car, transmission is fine, clutch feels the same as the day I bought it, still feels great.
