You know some people get their minds set on something and that is ok... but why in the world would someone trade a "nice Z06" for a irreversible salvage title cobra and "a little cash" It better be a lota cash.

I am the owner of the car not lemons12. I never said anything to you about your trade, i would have said no thanks, thanks for the offer. I cant help he thought your offer was laughable. so ill have to ask you to stay out of my thread unless you have something positive to contribute. BTW you would be surprized at the amount of trades for vette offers i have received and i have declined. I actually dont want a z06 everybody and there mom has one around here. anyways good luck with trading your car

i dont think his cobra is "almighty" by any means.. i think he should by the procharged SS that is in our area.. not another cobra..
nobody said anything about zo6s suck compared to base models.. i dont know why you even said that? but like OP said one of our buddies DD along with every tom dick and harry in our area..

So you're the unlucky buyer of the Cobra (not trying to sound like a dick at all). This was the one not far from St. Louis across the border in IL correct? I feel for ya man. I had cash in hand and was ready to go buy the car right before you but I started calling around to the DMV and Sec. of States office just to make sure I could register it, then he dropped the bomb on me about the CA title... Really sucks, I know for me at least the only way to get it on the street was to go back to CA to have it inspected bc it has to be submitted for inspection by the garage that completed the work, even though the car is like mint. I'll vouch for the condition...
Only way to try to get around it (in IL at least) is to know a liscensed rebuilder, sign the title over to them or have them put a lein on it, then if they're willing to lie and say they did the work, they could submit the car for inspection and claim they did the work but thats aweful risky.
