Default 1986 Camaro Sport Coupe, Mild Cam 305 - low miles drivetrain, CNY, $3200 OBO

1986 Camaro Sport Coupe - a nice car, very clean outside and in. Only rust is a surface patch on the drivers side A-pillar, and leading edge of the drivers side door - both surface rust that could be cleaned up pretty quick/easy. A few spots on the front clip need paint, typical 3rd gen spots. Interior is 4th gen leather, power drivers seat. Pioneer CD/Casette radio. 4 point harness on drivers side. The car also has a 145mph Z-28 gauge cluster, calibrated for the rear end.

Under the hood is a crate 305, 20k miles since it's been purchased. Summit K1102 cam (mild - 204*/214* .423"/.442"), ZZ3 aluminum intake (GM's clone of the Performer), Edelbrock 600cfm carb, SLP headers and y-pipe dumped on passengers side, vacuum advance Summit distributor. Emissions/ac/erg deleted. 700R4 trans, 10k miles since rebuilt w/ SLP shift kit and 2500rpm stall converter - very stout tranny. Optima red top battery. 10k miles on Richmond 3.73 rear end with posi. Suspension is Tokico 5way adjustable Illuminas w/ lowering springs, Global West Swaybar, panhard bar, wonderbar, poly busing, Metco LCA's, fast-ratio steering box. ROH 16" wheels w/ BFG KDW's all around.

Car needs nothing to drive, it defintley has a new rag joint in its near future - I have the parts to convert to a solid rage joint, there is some steering slop at the joint. Temperature gauge isn't currently functioning, electric fans do turn on as they should. The car was originally a CC-qjet and CC-distributor setup, the wiring harness was a hack job, so it was removed for vacuum advance ignition and standard carb. I have not rigged a torque converter lockup, you're over stall speed at 70mph, so there isn't a tremendous RPM difference. Its a nice quick car, about 9.6 seconds in the 1/8th, sounds good, and handles like its on rails.

More pictures available on request.
