Default 1989 Mustang GT 5.0/ 5-speed

1989 Ford Mustang GT

54k miles
Custom Blue Silver paint
Gray interior
5.0 High Output engine with 5 speed manual transmission
Power windows/ locks
Power lumbar seats
1995 Mustang front brakes and rearend - 5 lug discs all the way around
1995 Cobra wheels

I bought this car as a rolling chassis to build a dragcar out of but then found one that wasn't so nice because I didn't want to cut this one up. I just bought a wrecked Mustang with 68k miles on it and pulled the engine and trans from it and installed into this one.
While swapping it over I replaced:

Motor and trans mount
Full tuneup with Cap/ Rotor/ Plugs and Ford Motorsport wires
NEW Flowmaster exhaust
NEW BBK cold air intake
New battery

I also installed new carpet

The car turns heads and runs/ sounds great. The paint was done well and the two tone even follows through to the doorjambs.

The bads:
-cruise and air conditioning doesn't work
-small rip in drivers seat, otherwise interior is very nice
-could use an alignment and some tires at some point.
-Drivers window switch for pass side "down" doesn't work, nor do the power locks.
-Gets angry in extreme rain, I think the fenderwell air filter lets a little water past which makes the MAF angry

The car looks better in person I think, feel free to come see it in Davenport

The car does have a rebuilt title from some previous accident. This isn't that uncommon on a car of this age.

Located in Davenport, Iowa - 2.5 hours west of Chicago on I-80

$6000.00
