1981 Corvette Drag car rolling chassis Another unfinised project for sale. This is a 1981 vette that was bought at a court ordered estate auction and no title was obtained. Carfax has been run on the car and the title was clean. The car had been side swiped on the passenger side and we replaced the front fender, quarter and door. The frame was undamaged to my knowledge. The car was mostly complete when I tore it down so I have basically all the small parts you'll need to reassemble. I have back glass and mirrored t-tops. Major body parts you will need to purchase is a hood and rear bumper cover. A brand new silver carpet kit and weather stripping kit come with it as well.
The rear end is a 9" with 3.89 gears, detroit locker, 35 spline moser axles, 5/8" wheel studs, aluminum center section and aluminum pinion support. QA1 shocks and offset trailing arms.
Roll cage is 8 point cold roll steel with swing out bar on driver's side.
29x11.5-15 Hoosier Quick time DOT pros on rear with mickey thompson skinnies on front.
