96 WS6 Black on tan M6 8kobo Atlanta Ga
Hey ladies and gentlemen, the day has come to sell my beloved T/A. Being a student at Georgia State and commuting from Alpharetta (Where the car is located, just north of Atl.) is just too much mileage and wear for such a nice collectible car. Anyways, I have a 1996 Pontiac Trans Am Ws6 (real), #34 Black on tan leather interior. I would give the paint on the car a solid 8, the hood looks good after my last wax but I dunno maybe I'm picky, and both bumpers were just painted due to some fading and bug, rock chips the usual for an 11 year old car. It currently has 116300 miles as it sits not being driven until someone comes to drive her. The interior is another solid 8 with a stain here and a small tear there. The common tear on the drivers seat was professionally fixed. Stock sound sytem.T-tops. Manual 6 speed with hurst shifter and short stick. Pacesetter LT's coated, pacesetter off road y, deleted cats, AIR, EGR and has o2 sims in and the rest tuned out. PCM4less tune. Flowmaster catback but I have a cutout as well, I usually keep it off anyways, appearance wise it has 17" polished torq thrust II with Nitto 555R DR in the back cooper zeons in front (275) LS1 tailights clear corners of course ram air hood, deleted moldings, and a 2 week old perfect 5% tint. Overall its a great a fun car to drive...on the weekends...during the week its just too much for a commute. So neways it gets good gas mileage id say about 15 city 25 highway. It also has a 3.42 rebuilt rear at 92,000, just recently installed an SLP manual fan switch which is nice.
The known problems are that
1)the tracking is off on the driver side window ? I dunno I had the motors replaced just recently only about 500 miles on those. So I have no clue so I just leave it rolled up. Seems like an ez fix for someone who knows their glass?
2)Ever since I bought it the reverse had always been a touch. I basically have to disengage the clutch and let the fork sync in with reverse.? Transmission shop said reverses do that sometimes in our car and wouldnt be too expensive. Anyways I dont have that kinda of budget so i figure if its no problem to me I dont mind.
3)It drops a drop or two of oil a week. When I mean drop I mean drop. I constantly check my oil and it never goes down enough to ever fill it back up every 3000 miles. Believe it may be from oil pan. Again never really worried about fixin it because of not enough budget.
Other than that tho the car runs like a raped ape. Within the last 10000 miles it has had a full blown GM ignition service and many other service items like a water pump and a view other things. Plug wires the whole package added up to about 2000 dollars. My loss your gain for a really great running car. It is an extremely stout car for its age. Mileage is mostly highway from commute from to and from statesboro. It gets a lot of thumbs up and is a really clean well taken of car. Clear title and clear carfax will be shown if someone wants to look or Ill give you vin and you can check yourself. No problem...I know Im missing out on stuff so just pm me if you have ne questions, concerns or for pics. These are my cell phone camera but not too bad. I have more if interested
Im asking 8k obo, its not imperative that I sell it yet but Im willing to maybe work out something.
Here are pics
Thanks again

I bet this car is leaking oil from the back of the intake manifold.. Put your hand on the back of the engine and see if you can feel wet oil. My friends car and my car were the same way. Intake manifold gasket would be cheap and easy. Good luck with the sale the car looks amazing with the tt2's!!

Do you have any more pictures of the exterior/interior/engine bay? Pehaps some of the tires as well? email is pallium22@hotmail.com Bump for a sweet looking WS6!
Also, did you find out where that oil leak was coming from? I live in canada, but I am interested in driving down. Thanks!
