F/S: 1998 5.0 Eddie Bauer Explorer -cheap dependable SOLD!!!
$5,500 in Cartersville, GA -8 year daily driver
1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4door 2WD
Engine: 5.0L 302ci FI 16V V8 w/ factory GT40p heads.
Transmission: Automatic w/ overdrive & factory cooler
Options: PW, PDL, cruise, sunroof, leather w/ power driver seat & lumbar support, passenger lumbar support, newly recovered center console lid, onboard computer w/ monitoring screen, steering wheel controls, auto-climate control w/ rear seat controls, 6-disc console CD changer, single CD/Tape stereo (display fades out) w/ new replacement Ford built-in amp & MACH subwoofer in back, tow package w/ class IV drawtite hitch and light plug, limited slip 3.73 differential
Colors: blue w/ tan two tone trim, tan leather interior
Extras: K&N air filter (new), quiet dual exhaust (Flowmaster Big Block Muffler), Yakima bike rack (lost key), silver face gauges
Wheels: rare option fully polished Ford factory 16x7
Tires: Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO 265/75-16 –great condition
Shocks: Bilstein HD shocks, including 5th quad shock on axle
Brakes: New slotted rotors (all 4), new high performance low dust pads, new wheel bearings and grease
Service: strictly by dealership by book until 36,000 miles, and strictly kept by owner outside of 30k/60k/90k services by dealer. Recent 90k service included full tune-up and every fluid flushed and removed/replaced –including fluids, coolants, and oils. Mechanic noted tranny fluid and rear-end fluid looked brand new w/ no debris. Mechanic also noted this as being the nicest 98 Explorer viewed in recent history
Notes: NEVER in an accident or damaged –VIN 1FMZU32P2WZB63787, not one drip of fluid leak anywhere, 2nd owner –bought from a friend in 9/1999 at 16,000 miles, no smoking, carpet covered w/ plastic mats from day 1, cold A/C, transmission serviced every 30,000 miles, current mileage 110,500, very minor flaws w/ age, low speed hum from front end, dead on dependable transportation capable of 19/20 mpg. Plenty of torque. Yes, it is a very nice vehicle driven by me for the last 8 years. Pictures don’t do it justice.

thanks...its almost one of those sad events...its been such a great vehicle, but just bought the CTS-V and I've got the formula, so this needs to go. My tow pig is the wife's Yukon!
