All reciepts for car are kept and well documented. Lots invested into this car! Car is nearly perfect, the only thing is a few paint chips. As you can see from the pics, it is a really nice paint job, but close up you can see the chips. It won 2nd place overall in a local car show back in 2003 when the paint was almost perfect. If it were painted, it would be show worthy and with no mechanical problems. I have all the original stuff I took off the car (except for the wheels) and lots of extra parts that will come with the car including a rear disc brake kit, a rear battery relocation box, and an adjustable link rear traction bar kit.

Is it original Mach 1? How reliable is it (overheating etc.)? I know you had lots of pictures, but is there any rust on the body or undercarriage that isn't pictured? Any issues needing attention?

This car is totally reliable, as much as a car from 1971 can be that is. I have zero issues with oil brunoff, overheating, leaks, or stalling of any kind. I actually put a smaller carb. on the car to make it more streetable. It used to have a big 850 Demon on it that made it want to choke out at low idle, but it runs smooth with the 750 Holley and it actually does a lot better on the low end. I drove this car to school everyday back in high school. Believe me, back then it was not this reliable. I put a lot into it so that I could drive it around comfrotably, except for AC of course. It starts on the first try every time now with this new starter, even in winter. There is some very minor surface rust on some spots that are chipped in the paint, but that is nothing that wouldn't be seen on almost any car with paint chips. The undercarrage is virtually rust free. This car is in really good shape. It is now listed on eBay if anyone wants to check it out.
