Default 1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible $13k

I am selling a 1969 Cougar XR-7 convertible. Recently had the car appraised for $25,000 dollars. Asking $13,000. This car has been in the family for over 20 years. Car has been in California its whole life. I have over $30,000 in receipts for this car. The car has been recently been repainted with Spies Hecker paint, straight sheet metal, no rust. Hundreds of photos of recent repaint. All body bolts sandblasted and clear coated or replaced. All new window felts and rubber bumpers, seals, and gaskets. Door hinges rebuilt and hood hinges replaced. Engine compartment repainted and vacuum lines and wiring harness hidden. The convertible top was replaced 5 yrs ago along with the door panels, seats, and rear panels which were re-covered with genuine leather in a non-original pattern. All plastic trim has been dyed saddle brown and carpet was just replaced. The motor was rebuilt less than 8,000 miles ago. The motor is a non-original 390 the has been bored .030 over with Edelbrock RPM Aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock RPM intake, Holley 750cfm 4barrel carburetor, MSD ready to run ignition system, Harland Sharp full roller rockers, ARP 12point bolt set, Hooker ceramic coated headers, 2.5 inch full exhaust with twin 2.5 inch Flowmaster mufflers. The original c6 3speed automatic has been upgraded with TCI stall convertor and rebuilt at the same time as the motor. The radiator has been re-cored and gas tank replaced also has Holley electric fuel pump. Front and rear suspension has been re-built and original power front disk brakes and upgraded rear wheel disk brakes. The 9inch rear end has just had all seals replaced. Newer sport rally wheels. Recent fluids change, alignment, and tune session. Perfect driver starts on first turn of the key. New starter, alternator, and Interstate battery. Convertible top motor just rebuilt, head light door work along with sequential taillights. Have Marti report original 351 4v car with white interior and top. Now the cons…. No power steering set up for it, just no pump on the motor, no heat or a/c believed to be an original a/c car missing condenser and a/c compressor, missing high note horn, missing stereo and bezel, top has minor wear (see photo) and only master window switch works (possibly because it is a general motors switch). I am attaching plenty of photos and a few videos of the car. Feel free to ask any questions. I can produce receipts or documentation of any of the above statements.

Your car looks really nice, too far away for me, but it does look nice. Good luck....
